Chapter 8: In Pain

FELIX'S POV

"Hey stop that! Let me go!!" It sounded like Marinette's voice!

"We have to hide," Adrien said.

"But what about Marinette!" I yelled.

"Don't worry, Ladybug and Chat Noir are going to save her for sure." I looked confused at Adrien. "We can talk about it later, you can hide in the janitor's room. I'll hide in a locker or a different room."

He then led me to the janitor's room and left me in there. Why didn't he just stay with me? I think it would have been just fine if he just stayed with me. I hope Marinette is ok...

ADRIEN'S POV

I must transform! "Claws out!" I quickly exclaimed and transformed into Chat Noir. I hope Marinette's okay. I then go near the girls restroom where some girls were huddled up tied in rope, and Marinette was being pulled by the collar of her shirt by some guy.

"All highschool girls are mean and rude! Most of them are bullying me for being a geek! They are not even fit to be called ladies! I will turn you all into gaming characters to control you all and change you! I am the Game Changer!"

The guy let go of Marinette's collar tossing her to the ground. Her shoulder landed towards the concrete first as the rest of her body ended but being pushed down by gravity which tore up some parts of her clothing. Nevertheless, she immediately stood up with a fierce brave look on her face and her arms extended blocking the way between the guy and the girls tied up.

"I will not let you do anything to these girls. You're saying that they're rude, but now you are the one being rude, even making some of them tear up!" Marinette said with such a strong stern voice. "There is no need to hurt those you don't even know"

"Silence! You are quite the smart one. There may be little to alter about you, so I'll change you first!" The Game Changer exclaimed.

I almost forgot what I was doing there until the Game Changer aimed for Marinette using one of his keychains. I don't think I'll be able to get her. But then, Marinette dodged all the shots fired at her and made her way towards the Game Changer taking the keychains. I then run to Marinette and pick her up in my arms. I put her just outside of the school.

"Thank you for the help, my princess," I said with a bow to Marinette and kissed her hand.

"Just go take it to Ladybug you silly kitty," Marinette replied.

I then left. Where is Ladybug anyway?? She just missed a whole Akuma attack.

MARINETTE'S POV

Oh no, I better hurry to purify that Akuma. As soon as Chat Noir left, I called to Tikki, "Spots on!" I rushed back into the school.

"Hey, Chat. A girl told me you had the object containing the Akuma."

Not sure if it would be the right time to mention my own name at the moment so that he doesn't try comparing me... to me.

"Here you go, my lady. And where have you been? You missed the whole attack and my princess took care of it." Chat said.

"I've been busy..." I replied, and I tossed my yo-yo and purified the Akuma.

"Well, I better get going. See you Chat."

With that, I left quickly, and Chat Noir didn't even try to stop me. I went behind some trees and bushes to detransform. I then ran back into the school to see how the girls were doing.

"Are you all alright?" I said as I went to go see how they were doing.

"You saved us without Ladybug's help," one girl said.
