Chapter 19 Plan to Reveal?!

ADRIEN'S POV

"Oh no, hopefully, the Ferris Wheel gets down fast," Mari said in a panic.

"I think we'll be safe up here. I don't think the Ferris Wheel is going to move anytime soon. The guy in charge of it ran away." As I was talking I saw Mari somehow opening the door and slowly making the way down.

"I need to get down there... um but you can stay up here, please. When I get down, I'll put the switch and get everyone out. You're a model, and I just don't want anything to happen to you," Mari said bravely. How can she be brave?! We are all the way on the top!!

"No, you can't! It's too unsafe to get down there from this far up! Come back in here."

"Also if Chat comes by... just tell him I will always remember the times we had together. Also, tell him not to worry. It's hard to explain why I talk to him, but please tell him." She smiled and started her way down. Okay, I will transform to Chat and go get Mari as soon as she goes a bit further. Then, I hear a scream.

"You will be perfect for the sacrifice ritual towards getting my sister back. Her coma ain't gonna get better with no ritual."

"No, let go of me! A ritual is not going to help. You should just stay by her side and continue to hope for her to come back." That's Mari's voice!

"Listen, girl, if you come with me at ease, I will not harm the people. It seems that you don't want anyone to get hurt right?"

"Okay... just leave all the civilians alone..." Mari, no! Why would she do this?!

"Good girl. Now that I have you, all I have to do is follow these steps on here. We must find the highest platform... I guess I'll sacrifice you on the Eiffel Tower." The akumatized person slowly made his way. Okay, now's my time to transform.

"Plagg claws out!" I transformed and got someone to get all the people out of the Ferris wheel.

"Hey, you!" I yelled at the akumatized person. It was a guy wearing all violet with a wired staff on his hand. "Where are you straying off to with my purrincess?"

"I don't have time for this," the akumatized person said. With the staff, the guy gained control over some of the civilians.

"Hey, you said you would leave the civilians alone! Stop this!" Mari yelled at the guy.

"You have some nerve girl, but you are worthy of being sacrificed if you're this brave." The civilians were then no longer in his control, but he set off a fog to escape from me. It's useless since I overheard where he was going to sacrifice my purrincess.

MARINETTE'S POV

I can't let anyone else get hurt. I hope Chat Noir can handle this akumatized person. For now, I'll try to buy him some time.

"Umm sorry for asking, but what am I being sacrificed for?"

"Well you see, ever since my sister got in her coma, I read about ways of bringing a person back. Most of them included having faith and visiting your loved one. None of them worked. I came upon stories of sacrifices, and some seemed to work... plus I have tried everything except this, so it just has to work..."

"I don't think it'll work. Plus, if your little sister were to get up and realize that you hurt civilians and sacrificed someone, wouldn't she be scared of you? What if she's disappointed? I don't think she would want you doing this."

"Shut up! I don't care what she thinks of me! I just want her to be alive and see her smiling, along with the smile of my parents..." We stopped talking and the akumatized guy was almost to the top holding me against my own will. He tied me to the top of the Eiffel Tower in chains and started chanting with his eyes closed. I could probably escape without him noticing. I'm actually really scared...as Ladybug I wouldn't feel as scared as I am now... oh Chat, please save me...I don't even know how I'm gonna purify the Akuma if I'm like this...maybe it's a sign to reveal my identity... ugh I trust Chat Noir; I think it's the right thing to do.
