Chapter 41 Public News

Hey, Minna. So, this is the final chapter for this fanfic. But is it going to have a sequel? Let me know, please. I kind of have an idea where I can go from here. But, I'm not sure if I'm ready to release what I have so far yet. Thank you for reading my fanfiction! It really means a lot to me that there are actually people out there that read my fanfic. ADRIEN'S POV

Yesterday was really something. I'm so glad my dad has accepted Marinette as my girlfriend! He's even allowing me to make it public. I mean, my classmates already know, but I want the whole world to know! After that whole intimidating yesterday morning, Marinette and I just went out. An entire day for us to date! I hope I get another day like that. Marinette and I were able to go to see a movie, eat out, and we did patrol together. Knowing each other's identity is actually a good thing. All this time, my lady was scared that it would cause us trouble, but in the end, I think this may just improve our teamwork and our relationship both as civilians and heroes. I have always looked forward to school, but I am even more excited.

I can finally put that I am no longer single on social media! But first, I need an amazing picture with Marinette. Any picture I take with her will look purrfect! I must get to school. But, first things first, my photoshoot.

*half-an-hour later

"These pictures are great! Your smile is so radiant that I didn't have to do that many retakes. Someone must be on your mind," my photographer said.

"Well, if you look on my social media page later today, you will know who has made me this happy," I said proudly and excitedly.

I immediately start making my way to the car to get to school. I know! I'll text Marinette.

A: Good morning, my purrincess! I can't wait to see you this fine morning.

There that should do it. I can't wait for her to read my message. I wonder if she's already up... I mean she has been getting to school on time so far. But, she used to be tardy most of the time. I hope she comes early so we could take a picture together. Oh, my phone vibrated. It must be her!

M: You silly kitten. I can't wait to see you too! I'm actually already at school because I couldn't wait to see you. But, I forgot you have your photo shoot this morning so you will be taking longer. :(

A: Actually, I finished my photoshoot early! I'm already almost at school! Meet me at the front of the school. I want to take a picture of us together. ;)

M: Okay. I'll be waiting, my kitty. ;D

She's so sweet. This car needs to go faster.

"We are here," my gorilla of a bodyguard informs me.

"Thank you. I'll see you later," I say as I jumped out of the car. I see my girlfriend sitting on the top step. She's wearing the Chat Noir themed outfit she wore yesterday! She has no idea how much it actually gets to me. The wind allows her hair to subtly wave back and forth. Her ocean-blue eyes are on the journal she uses to draw her design ideas. She is as creative as usual; she looks so focused that I really don't want to distract her. Oh, I can take a picture to remember this moment.

Oh no! I forgot to turn off the sound! Marinette is now looking at me, and I accidentally take another picture.

"Adrien! Why didn't you tell me you were here already?! And why did you take a picture of me?! Silly you," Marinette says with a bright smile on her face.

"You are just so mesmerizing, Marinette. I had to take a picture to forever save this moment," I tell her honestly.

"Let me see the picture!" she exclaimed trying to take my phone.
