MARINETTE'S POV
I am exhausted. After the stakeout as Ladybug, I returned home to my room, but Chat came to visit me right after.
<Flashback to Last Night>
"Well, I think that's enough for our stakeout, Chat. Same time tomorrow? Or are you busy?" I question Chat Noir as Ladybug.
"Yeah let's end stake out, M'lady. Oh, and sorry, tomorrow I don't think I will be able to come. I have an appointment," Chat answers.
Chat Noir and I never say the specific matters we must attend too just in case we know each other in our civilian form. We mustn't compromise identities, at least not until the time is right.
"It's okay. I'll take over tomorrow's stakeout. Anyway, goodnight!"
"Goodnight, my bugaboo!"
After saying our goodbyes, we part ways. I go into my room through the rooftop door and make sure to lock it. I change out of my clothes into my comfy kitty onesies... yes, my onesies. Just as I was about to put down my hair, there is a light knock on the rooftop door. Ugh. I get up and unlock it. I look up to see my emerald-eyed Kitty -- Chat Noir. He has been visiting me from time to time ever since I assigned him to me when Nathaniel was akumatized. Ever since that time, we have comforted each other and became best friends.
"Hello, my purrincess," Chat whispered.
"Hey, Kitty. What are you doing here? It's pretty late," I whispered back because I do not want to awaken my parents.
"I just wanted to see my purrincess."
I noticed that his smile is not genuine. "Is something wrong? You must feel stressed. I'll make you some tea! I just need to be very quiet," I tell Chat Noir. Before he could refuse, I already stealthily make my way out of my room and downstairs. Luckily, I am able to clumsily prepare the tea and bring it back to Chat Noir. He is lying on my bed waiting for my return. I handed him his tea.
"Thank you, purrincess. You really do know how to comfort people." From then on, we started talking about Ladybug, some problems he has been experiencing, and much more. Wait...what time is it...
"Omg, Chat! It's 3 am, and I have school tomorrow! Well, technically today because it's already the morning!"
"I'm sorry! I'll leave right now! Just go to sleep. I'll lock the rooftop door and go through the window instead."
"Okay. Well, good night even though it's morning!"
"Goodnight purrincess!"
<End of Flashback to Last night>
It was great CHATTING with him... Wait did I just do a pun right now... Well, anyways, I think I'm spending too much time with him, nonetheless, I can't help but have a great time when talking with him. However, my heart will forever belong to Adrien...
"Marinette wake up! You're going to be late to school again!!" Tikki called out to me.
"Just five more minutes...," I answered back.
"Alya texted you by the way because the bell is going to ring in ten minutes"
"Well, why didn't you say so?!?!"
I put my messy hair in my two pigtails and grabbed toast on the way out. Must sprint it all out! Oh, yes; I think I'll make it!
"Oww..." My clumsy-self tripped over the stair step bumping into someone, and of course, this isn't the first time.
"Are you okay Marinette?"
