Chapter 22 The Play Plus a Confession?

MARINETTE'S POV

We are all making our way to where the play is taking place. It feels great being with Adrien, but I wish I can hold his hand. I look at the corner of my eyes and realize Adrien is staring at me.

"W-what?" I asked. I didn't know what else to say.

"S-sorry. I was just kind of wishing I was able to hold your hand," Adrien whispered.

I burst out laughing as Adrien's face got red. "I was actually thinking the same thing," I said. He ended up chuckling with me. My phone vibrated in my purse. I decided to take a quick look at my phone. It was a message from Nathaniel? It says: Hey, after the play, can you meet up with me alone. Please.

Hmm, maybe he wants to tell me something personal. I text him back: Okay. After the play, we can say bye to the others and make our way to the place you want to go.

"Who is taking your eyes away from me," Adrien said jokingly.

"Oh, actually I'm going to go somewhere with Nathaniel. I think he has something to tell me. You don't mind do you?" I asked nervously. I just realized I have a boyfriend now. Am I really able to hang out with a guy by myself?

"O-okay. I'm glad you at least told me. Make sure to tell me everything that happens. I really don't want you to be with him alone, but I trust you," Adrien said reluctantly.

"I promise I'll tell you everything. Also, remember, I will have you in my mind the whole time," I whispered to Adrien.

He slightly blushed and had a large smile on his face.

"Finally we are here! Omg, do you think Ladybug and Chat Noir will show up to the show?! That would be amazing!" Alya said excitedly.

"Well, I don't think they would be here otherwise they would have said it in the flyers," Nino said.

Adrien and I smirked to each other. "I think Ladybug would love to show up for this play even if it wasn't planned. And, wouldn't Chat Noir join in as well," I said.

"Chat Noir would obviously go if Ladybug goes. After all, they are a couple," Adrien smiled.

"What?! How did you know?! I didn't even get to post it on my blog yet!" Alya exclaimed.

"I-I mean don't they look like a couple," Adrien said forgetting that no one knows that we are dating in civilian and superhero form.

"Anyway dudes, we're here. This line is so long," Nino mentioned.

"Hey, don't worry. Since we have the tickets we don't have to get in this line. We can just skip it and go to the entrance," I mention. The group all sigh in relief. I giggle, and they all laugh along.

FELIX'S POV

Marinette really is such a wonderful girl. Adrien better take good care of her when they become a couple. As we walk into the theatre, Nathaniel somehow made his way to Marinette's side. Adrien has been glaring at Nathaniel.. and Nathaniel has been glaring back! Hopefully, Marinette doesn't feel the tension.

I have to somehow get Nathaniel back next to me so he doesn't destroy Marinette and Adrien's couple aura. But how?

Hmm, I can't just drag Nathaniel away without a legitimate explanation. The closer we get into the theatre, the closer Nathaniel tried to get near Marinette. Wait, I think his hand is reaching for Marinette's!

I rushed behind Nathaniel and grabbed the hand that was about to touch Marinette's hand. Okay, now I need a reason. Think think think! Oh!

"Phew, that was a close one. I almost tripped," I said aloud.
