Chapter 8

The next day

Jake's POV

I just got up and was getting ready to be back at home, so I went to pack my stuff. But when I went to my bunk to grab a couple more things I could hear Allyson crying so I went to check it out.

"Are you ok." I said hoping she will answer.

She showed me her arms and there was blood going down her arms, so I went to clean it up, and when I was cleaning her arms I asked what made her want to do it.

"I just told Andy yesterday what was wrong, but I just couldn't think that was all I had to say, but now this is more to say to him but there was nothing else to say, and I just made myself look worse." She answered back.

"You do not look worse. You still look like your beautiful self , but you need to stop cutting though, everyone in the band wants you to be ok, but you are going to tell Andy about this. If you don't feel like telling Andy right now you can tell him about this when we get home and if you want me with you I can but I don't have to, we will be home in an hour."

"Ok." She said.

I went to finish packing and when I was done I went to help Allyson.

(At home)

Everyone just got home and are really tired so we decided we would just take a nap an we would hang out later.

I just woke up and remembered I was going to see if Allyson wanted me to be with her to tell Andy what happened, so I am going to text her.

(A-Allyson, J-Jake)

J- Hey
A-Hey
J-Have you told Andy what happened yet
A-No, I wanted to wait for you I fell asleep before i was going to text you
J-Ok, Is anyone else there
A-No, Just me and Andy
J-Ok, I will be there in 10 minutes
A-Ok
J-Bye
A-bye

I get up and get ready to go over to Andy's house. It takes me a couple minutes to get ready and then I'm leaving my house.

I get to the house and knock on the door. When the door opens I see Allyson. "Do you know where Andy is?" I asked her. "He's still sleeping." She answered back. "Ok." "You can come in, we can just talk till he gets up." She said. "Ok." I said.

"What did you tell Andy yesterday?" I said.

She told me, "He could tell something was wrong and I couldn't hide it any more and I needed to tell him the truth so I said, 'the other girls in the orphanage were mean and they told me that if I was ever adopted that I should starve myself so I decided sense I knew people were coming and no one ever adopted me that I would start to not eat the night before and that was the way I thought it would be okay to die'. Andy made me happier that he said he would help me and needed to know before it was the last minute so I told him." 

"I'm glad you told him and that's not right the other girls are stupid, I'm glad you were adopted." I said. Then she hugged me.

"Hey." I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Andy.

"Hey." I answered back.

"When did you get here." He said.

I told him, "30 minutes ago. But Allyson needed to tell you something and she wanted me with. She wanted to wait till you got up."

"Ok." Said Andy.

She just started to talk and said, "after I told you yesterday I was up thinking and couldn't think that was all I had to say so I went to bed. And then I woke up an was thinking again but I actually thought that I didn't tell you everything but I did and It didn't feel right and I ended up cutting again." She said crying and showing Andy her arms.

Just after a couple seconds of silence she got up and ran to her room crying and said, "I can't live like this."
