Chapter 7

Andy's POV

I woke up again but at the time I usually do but Allyson was still sleeping. I waited till she got up so it was about 20 minutes.

When she got up she said, "good morning."

"Good morning." I answered back.

"I didn't want to disturb you and was afraid if I told you last night that I couldn't sleep without you, I thought you would think I'm weird." She said in a shy voice.

I told her, "I don't thing you weird, but if you ever need me I am here for you, I woke up in the middle of the night and put a blanket on you so I was ok with you being here. I understand why though."

"Okay." She said but I know she still isn't telling me anything.

"Is there anything wrong." I asked

She didn't answer right away but she said, "No."

"I know there's something wrong and you aren't telling me, and you never told Ashley either." I told her.

She just said again. "I don't have anything wrong I'm fine." And then I knew right away that something was wrong.

I told her to go get ready for the day. She went to get clothes to take a shower. I walked over to Ashley and said, "Allyson is not saying anything is wrong and I know there is." "Maybe nothing is wrong and you are just worried." He said trying to make me not worry. She said, "I don't have anything wrong I'm fine." "It's a lie I can tell in her voice and she looks like she is getting sick." I said. "Try to get her to tell you and I will give you a week but if there is nothing wrong then she's fine, but I will help you try to see if there's something wrong." "Ok, and also when I went to bed I woke up in the middle of the night and she was sleeping next to me, but this morning she said she couldn't sleep without me." "Ok, we will try to see by the end of this week." He said. "Ok." I answered back.

Just then she walked out of the bathroom all ready for the day.

"Do you want to hangout today." I asked.

"Yeah." She said. She looked happy.

"Ok, let's go." I said as we walked out of the bus and went to the car.

(In the car after the mall)

"I have to tell you something." I told her.

"We are going to be back at home tomorrow and I wanted to tell you that for the first couple nights you will be staying with me." I told her hoping she wouldn't freak out but she didn't.

"Ok." She said, but her head was down. I could tell she was going to cry then she did.

"Is everything ok?" I asked.

"I was not telling you this because I didn't want you to know what has been happening to me but I can't handle keeping it in." She said while crying.

"It's ok, I can help you, but you have to tell me what's wrong otherwise I won't Be able to and then I will at the last minute so I need to know now." I said while driving up to the bus.

She told me, "The reason I did this is because I couldn't stand it anymore and hated what other people said so I did what they said. It happens the night before I got adopted, the other people said that I didn't deserve to be the one getting adopted but they were all going to be mad if it was me. They told me that if I did then I shouldn't do any thing and I shouldn't eat or anything but I didn't like it at the orphanage so I just started the night before I was going to be adopted."

"You shouldn't have done that, and don't deserve it. Why did you listen to them?" I said sadly.

"I thought I would never get adopted and thought I would just do that and then I wouldn't have to worry about anything and would die like that and It would be ok." She said crying again.

"That is not ok, you are lucky you got adopted otherwise you could have died and then you wouldn't have been able to be with us, and now we can help you." I said hoping it would make her feel better.
