Chapter 56

Allyson's POV
1 week later

I woke up thinking about what we should do. I never talked to Andy about anything. I got up before him so I just walked down stairs and watched TV.

A half hour later Andy came down.
"Good morning." He said kissing me.
"Good morning to you." I said.
"What do you want for breakfast."
"Um...I don't know. Anything I guess."
"Okay." He said.

I walked to the kitchen and sat on the counter.

"What do you need to talk about?" He asked.
"I was wondering, that sense we are married now, that Alex can live with us."
"Of course. He's both of our child he can."
"Okay, I go and see him at Ashley's every week. So he's okay. We need to make him a room, now what are we going to do."
"It's fine, we change the room next to our room. It's an office for me to stay for quiet time and reading." He said.
"More like go on your phone."
"Okay... Whatever"

He put our food on the plates and took me off the counter. We ate and then decided to clean the room.

"I need to tell you something."
"What." He asked.
"Have you ever realized that Ashley is now your father in law."
"Never really thought of it. Do you think he thought of it."
"I don't know we should ask. I'll go call. Wait I will have him come over and bring Alex so we can play."
He nodded.

I called Ashley and he came sighing five minutes.

"Allyson asked me something and I never thought of it."
"What?"
"She asked me if I ever realized you were now my father in law and we were wondering if ever thought about it."
"No, I really just think of us as friends like normal. Is that what you always thought."
"Yeah, should we think of it that way."
"Yeah, just keep it like it was, and I know how you are with Allyson to not worry much that you will hurt her. I have known you longer than she has known you. I trust you."
"Ok." He said and then they finished the room.

The room was a light teal color so that was good. All we needed was to move a few things in an then we were good Alex was one so it wasn't to long for him to actually get a bed. He has started to walk and talk a little.

After two more hours his room was set up and we had everything done.

"Thanks for helping." Andy said.
"Your welcome." He said
"Thanks." I said hugging Ashley.

Ashley left and them me and Andy hung out with Alex.

"Guess what I sort of just realized."
"What?"
"All our names start with the same letter, and last name, now."
"Yeah." He said taking Alex.
"What should we do." I asked.
"Alex looks tired sense you have been playing with him for two hours. So he's taking a nap." He put him in his crib.

We walked down stairs and then I sat on the couch.
"I have a random question to ask, What's your middle name you never told me."
"You will think it's weird."
"Is it the same letter as mine and Alex's middle name."
I nodded.
"Wow, we have a lot with names in common. Please tell me."
"No." I said.

He sat next to me and set me on his lap.
"Please. I won't judge."
"No."
He kissed me and told me to tell him.
"It's embarrassing."
"I don't think it will be." He said and kissed me again.
"Fine ok, it's Delaney." I told him.
"That's not that bad, I love it, just like you."
It went silent for a few minutes.
"I don't know, I don't think that's good I told you." I said going up the stairs.

He followed and waited my the door for a few seconds then came next to me.

"Why are you upset? What did I do?." He said.
"Nothing. It was in my past."
"Please tell me." He said kissing me lightly.

"When I told you it like went silent and I can tell you were judging it! And when I was younger people would make fun of it and before they said anything it would be silent!"
"I wouldn't judge, I promised!"
"You lied before so what are you saying!"
"It was an accident, and that's over with!" He said.

He walked out of the room and went down stairs. He could tell we needed to be alone for a bit. Ten minutes later I heard Alex crying so I got up and checked on him. When I picked him he started to stop.
"It's ok." I said.
I put him back in his crib and then went to get a bottle.

I turned around and almost left his room then seen Andy in the door way.
"I'm sorry about what happened, I was just getting frustrated. And then didn't think right and got mad at you. Can we forget it happened."
"I will always remember, but I also got mad at nothing. I was thinking of something that happened a long time ago and I was letting that control me. I'm sorry."
"Are we both good." He asked.
"Yes." I said.
We hugged and he stayed with Alex ad I got a bottle.

When I got back he was really happy. Andy fed Alex and when he was done I put him back to take a nap.

Then I walked to Andy and sat on his lap.
"Now It feels like this is our family, we are now living altogether." I kissed him and wrapped my arms around him.
"It does." He said.

I fell asleep in his arms and he carried me to bed. I love him for a good reason.
