Maya's POV.

The party is huge. When we arrive we have to search everywhere for a parking spot and end up two blocks away. We walk together and I have to admit, Scott was right, I'm shivering it's that cold.

I try not to make it obvious though, not wanting him to say "I told you so" or anything like that. He fortunately doesn't and we finally make it to the party. Some people yell out to Stiles and he yells back, greeting each other.

We get inside and the house is crowded with so many people that it's hard to move. A guy with tattoos covering his arms comes over and welcomes us, greeting Stiles with a 'bro-hug' and then telling us there are drinks in the kitchen.

Stiles leads the way, going into a small kitchen that surprisingly has only two people in it. Scott and I move to a bar area and sit down on the stools there while Stiles goes to the fridge.

"Do you drink?" Scott asks me, eyes suspicious.

"No...I mean I could but I haven't." I say, watching Stiles grab out some sodas.

"Well we do." Stiles says, throwing a soda at Scott and then handing one to me. "But you shouldn't since you're younger."

"Stiles isn't drinking though." Scott says, looking at his best friend. "Because he's driving us home, remember?"

"I can have one drink, Scott. It's not like we're going to leave straight away so I won't be over the limit or anything." Stiles complains, opening his soda and taking a big sip before going over to the liquor bottles. "What goes with lemonade?"

"Tripe sec and vodka." I answer innocently. They both look at me questioningly. "I watch a lot of random YouTube videos okay? Don't judge me."

"I won't, unless this tastes bad." Stiles laugh, grabbing the two bottles I said and adding them to his soda. He takes a sip and smiles. "That's actually good. Scott you should mix one up too."

"Later, I don't want to start drinking straight away." He replies, shaking his head. "I'm gonna go see if I can find Kyle."

"Alright well text me if you want me." Stiles tells him, waving his away. He then turns to me. "You wanna go down to the basement? That's usually where all the fun is."

"Um, sure." We leave the kitchen and make our way through all the people to the basement stairs, Stiles going down first. It isn't as crowded but there are still quite a few people down here, mostly couples but also a few random groups playing games like beer-pong and stuff.

Stiles and I go over to a couch and sit down, me on the chair part and Stiles on the arm since there isn't any more space for him. We join in on a trivia game with a bunch of semi-drunk people.

It isn't that fun, rather boring actually and eventually Stiles leaves, telling me he's going to get a drink. I'm left there playing with these now drunk people who aren't even taking the game seriously anymore.

Twenty minutes pass and I finally decide that I can't handle these drunken idiots any longer, standing up and making my way back to the kitchen. The hallways aren't as crowded now, most people having moved outside.

I get to the kitchen and it's empty. I sigh in relief, glad there no drunk people in here to annoy me. I sit down at the bar area again and pull out my phone, opening up Instagram to pass some time.

Honestly I thought this party would be a little more entertaining but there are way too many people here and they're almost all drunk so it isn't that fun.

I'm sure when I'm older and actually drink, parties like this will be a lot more fun, but for now it's just not appealing. I stay on Instagram for ten minutes, searching through everyone's photos, liking almost everything.
