I didn't want to move from Damon's warm embrace but I knew I had to. From his even breathing I knew he was deep asleep so I carefully wiggled out of his embrace and pulled on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and being very quiet snuck out of the room. At every creak the floorboards and stairs made I froze but nobody seemed to be awake. I tip toed down in to the basement and walked in to the cell where Elijah's body was being kept. I frowned when I saw the door was already open but then my eyes widened as I realized who was standing over the body. Elena gasped as she turned around in shock and surprise. "Lina, I-It's not what it looks like." She lied. "Oh I think it's exactly what it looks like." I stated "I- I just can't let Bonnie die for us." She explained I smiled at her. "Great minds think alike twin." I stepped around her and leaned down to Elijah's corpse. I carefully put my hand to his cheek brushing his hair from his face. "Oh Lijah, what have we done to you." I whispered before I pulled the dagger out. "And now we wait." Elena said as I twirled the dagger in my hand. "How long is it going to take?" Elena asked nervously as she stood in the doorway looking out for Stefan or Damon. I shrugged in response as I sat down against the wall twisting the dagger in-between my fingers. "What's wrong?" She asks me. "When Klaus grabbed my arm I had a vision. It was of me it think. But it was centuries ago. I was with Klaus..." I trialed off "Do you think it's possible to be reincarnated?" I ask her. "Maybe, what happened in the vision?" She asked curiously. "It went through part of my life I think. It was like looking through a smudged mirror. Trying to see but you can't really." I say trying to remember. "Maybe Elijah will know about this past life." Elena says. "Maybe." I add.
Time passed very slowly after the dagger was pulled out from Elijah's chest. I'd been going over in my head the things I would have to explain to Damon when he finds out. Staring at his lifeless body and ripped up clothing I wondered if he would forgive me for what I've done to him. Suddenly he jolted up, hunching his back. I ran to him and told him to calm down. He grabbed on my wrist and gave me a strange look. I don't know what happened at that moment. I closed my eyes and all I could see was white. Slowly an image started to appear.
I stood in the tall grass at the end of the cleaning, beyond me the tall grass dissipated a few feet from the falls. That's where I saw him sitting alone, it was only when I got closer that I saw what he was doing. He was cleaning his blade in the water. I had been warned he would be leaving to go on a hunting trip with his father and brothers soon. A dangerous trip that could be fatal if one was not careful. He was always careful but he was also terribly noble and brave and that bravery was the cause of my worry. Elijah sat in the grass not twenty feet from me, the sun turning his dark hair golden brown in the light. He always seemed so peaceful and calm, so put together but I knew it was a show. Behind those deep dark brown eyes was worry. "If you don't learn to relax you'll have wrinkles by the next solstice." I said warmly as I approached him. He looked up and me and smiled "Perhaps a few wrinkles would make me look more manly." He joked as he furrowed his brows. I kicked off my shows and walked into the water and sighed. "You'll get your dress wet, Thalia." He warned me. I smirked as I looked him in his eyes before pulling the laces loose at the front of my dress before it dropped below me exposing my naked body to his watchful gaze. He nearly blushed. "I won't be needing it much longer." I said smoothly as I motioned for him to come closer. He swallowed hard before he stood and stepped into the water to stand next to me. I brushed the back of my hand against his cheek and down the length of his arm before taking his hand in mine. I felt him stiffen, avoiding looking below my eyes. I smiled once more. "I want you to see me, Lijah." I whispered as I lifted his hand to my bare chest. "I want you to feel me." I said as I left his hand on my breast and reached for his other hand. "Thalia," he breathed an unsteady breath. "I want you." I said my lips brushing against his ear. "Do you want me?" I said as I lifted his other hand to my lower back side. "Yes," he breathed against my skin. "Then take me." I whispered. I nearly gasped as he grabbed my throat and pulled me closer to him, our lips smashing together as I reached down and began untying his pants.
