Rebekah stopped just outside the doorway waiting for Stefan who would not even recognize her. "Hurry up Rebekah, let's go!" Klaus rushed. "He'll be here any second." Rebekah hushed him. "Do you want to die we've been found we need to move!" Klaus argued. "Not without Stefan!" She insisted as she frantically looked back at the building that still echoed with gun shots. "Stefan is not coming we have to disappear he'll drawl too much attention, let him go!" Klaus almost yelled to her. I watched her face fall. "What did you do!" "Come on we don't have time for one of your tantrums!" He says as he pulls her arm. "I don't want to run anymore, Nick. All we do is run. I want to be with Stefan." Rebekah nearly begged. "Fine, then choose. Me, or him." Klaus urged her. She remained silent for a moment. "That's what I thought." Klaus says as she remained quiet. "Get in the truck, let's go." Klaus ordered. "Goodbye nick." Rebekah said quietly as she backed away from us. Klaus nearly snarled as he went to grab her. They were so preoccupied with their argument that they didn't see him, but I did. Mikeal leaped from behind the truck with a white oak stake that could kill Klaus. It was the only weapon that could kill him, I knew it well. What I wasn't expecting was that Mikeal had it, and that he was going to use it. Time stood still as his plan unraveled. I saw him, the stake pointed directly at Klaus's back and he had no idea. I made a choice in the same instant I saw Mikeal; only it wasn't really a choice. I did this without question, without hesitation and I would do it again. I shoved Klaus out of the way. I felt the blow and the piercing pain that erupted from my core. In my original body it wouldn't have affected me much but this body was weak and fragile and yet I still sacrificed myself for him, because I loved him. I loved him more than life itself and I'd rather die a thousand times than ever see him hurt. There was no second thought, only the burning need to protect him. I felt my body hit the cold hard ground with a crushing force. I gasped as I looked down at my torso where the stake protruded from my flesh. He missed my heart. I had never been so relieved in my life. I felt hands scoop me up and hold me tight. I hissed as Mikeal pulled the stake from torso and held it over my heart, threatening to kill me. "Come save your devil woman, boy!" Mikeal hissed at Klaus taunting him to play into his trap. He didn't want me or Rebekah dead. He wanted Klaus. "Let me go." I called out as Mikeal gripped my throat. My eyes met with Klaus's as his fulled with tears. "Let her go!" Klaus yelled. "You don't want her. You want me!" He yelled as he tried to keep it together. "Come on. Come save your whore." He growled as he threatened to stake me. I didn't want to die and in that moment I was terrified. "Go on call to your bastard lover." Mikeal hissed in my ear. "Klaus." I whimpered in Mikeal's arm's. Klaus's face filled with guilt as he took a step back. "Klaus, please." I begged as Mikeal dug the stake into my flesh drawing blood. Klaus swallowed hard before he took another few steps away. "I'm sorry, Thalia." Klaus said in a broken voice. "I'm going to kill her, boy!" Mikeal hissed. "Klaus!" I cried as tears flooded my eyes. Klaus shook his head before a tear spilled from his eye. "Coward." Mikeal sneered. "You will never be anything more than a coward!" Mikeal yelled at Klaus as he dug the stake deeper into my flesh, blood dripping down my dress. I felt the tears flood from my eyes as I filled with hate and terrible sadness. I felt pain erupt from my chest as I screamed out into the night. I had never felt pain like this before. I felt my body hit the cold hard ground with a crushing force. I felt hands scoop me up and hold me tight. "No! You have to wake up, wake up Thalia!" I opened my eyes to see him holding me tight. "Is he gone?" I whimpered. "Yes, he's gone." Klaus nearly growled. "I'm sorry." I whispered. "Why? Why would push me out of the way?" He nearly cried over me. "Because I love you." I said with tears in my eyes. I felt my body going numb. I was running out of time. "What am I going to do without you?" He said with tears lacing his eyes. "You are going to break this curse." I whimpered. "How do you know that?" He asked frantically. "Because I believe in you. I trust you." I said with my last few breaths. "Don't please. I can't lose you to." He argued. "One day we'll find that place where you and I can be together. And we'll rebuild all that was taken from us. So smile for me one last time and believe we will meet again. Until then, I'll be missing you." I whispered before the darkness consumed me completely.
