*Barry's pov*

I had just entered Jitters after work, I've been in this new timeline for three months. I saw Iris and (y/n) sitting at a table, talking and Iris was on her laptop. I then heard some commotion about the Flash against Rival. I made sure no one was looking and sped off following Flash and Rival."Flash, want us to help?" An officer asked."No. But when I'm done with fool he might need some." Flash retorted which made me smile a little. I saw Rival start running in a circle, some lightning bolts shooting out. Next thing you know I was moved with Flash next to me."Are you ok?" He asked and I nodded."Yeah." Flash nodded and moved forward to find Rival, but he was already far gone. I was amazed and went back to Jitters.

When I walked in Iris and (y/n) were still there. I saw Iris's wallet so used my speed and grabbed it."Excuse me, is this your wallet? It was just right there on the floor so you may have dropped it." I said, standing beside Iris."Oh yes, I didn't notice. Thank you." Iris smiled and I saw (y/n) look up at me which made me even more nervous."You're welcome." I then started to walk away."Wait." I heard (y/n) call out and she grabbed my shoulder. I turned around to face her."Yes?" "Do I...know you from somewhere? I feel like I know you." Iris looked at me."Yeah, me too." I chuckled nervously."We all actually went to elementary together. I met you in third grade." I pointed at (y/n) first and then Iris."I work at CCPD with your dad." "Yeah. My dad." Iris's smile faltered a little."Oh yeah! Yeah, yeah yeah. Garry right?" (y/n) smiled."Barry Allen. It's Barry." "Oh I'm sorry." "It's fine." I state and looked at her hands, no rings."Barry, are you married?" Iris pointed at my hand, the ring still around my finger."Oh uh...no, my mom just gave it to me. It belonged to my grandfather who passed recently." I lied, inwardly kicking myself in the butt."Oh, sorry for your loss." "It's alright." I smiled at Iris."Well it was nice running into you." (y/n) let go of my shoulder, taking the warm sensation with her."Uh actually..." She looked back at me."I was wondering, would you want to get a coffee? I know you're having coffee right now. I meant at a different time. With me. Or it doesn't have to be coffee, it could be any beverage. Like a wine or beer. Not that I wanna get you drunk. We could get iced tea. Do you like iced tea? Would you want to get an iced tea with me?" I rambled on and (y/n) giggled."Barry Allen you're very cute you know that?" I smiled sheepishly and chuckled."Yes, I would love to get an iced tea with you." (y/n) smiled and I nodded."Okay. Tomorrow? Around lunch?" She nods."Sounds like a plan." "Great. See you then." We exchanged good byes and I walked out, heading to my house.

I slowly stopped out front when I saw my parents walking out and down the steps."Hey slugger." "There's my sweet boy." I smiled wide."Eveything okay?" I nodded."Yeah. Everything's great." I couldn't stop smiling. We all went inside and had dinner, talking and laughing. I then went to bed, finally peaceful and happy.

I walked downstairs, finished adjusting my coat."Good morning." I greeted my parents."Good morning Barry." I hugged my mom and kissed her temple."Why do you hug me every morning like you haven't seen me in a long time?" My mom asked and I chuckled."I can stop if you don't like it." "No, I love it." I started to hwlp myself with breakfast. My parents were talking about selling something and they looked at me."Do you want me to move out?" I asked."No." They disagreed. I chuckled when they were talking about the last three months."Remember the girl I told you about?" "The one you keep stalking." I chuckled."Not stalking. More like gaining courage to ask her out." My mom looked surprise."And I did. She said yes." My mom and dad smiled. My dad gave me a high five and my mom said she was happy for me.

"Is it okay if I leave early?" The chief looked at me."Why, to get ready for your date?" "No. I'm meeting a friend." I state. And he let me go so I walked out, grabbing some food to go, and going to where my 'friend' was. I walked in and saw Eobard Thawne."Food." "There better be curly fries in there." He said."I read that humans can last three weeks without food. So be grateful I'm giving you some." I then grabbed a stool and sat on it."Oh Barry, pretty soon you'll be wishing I did kill your mother." That made me snap and put the stool back. I walked out of the building, Eobard yelling at me.
