I've been home for around an hour now. So far I've just been sat catching up with my parents,Dallas and Maddie. I can't believe how long it's been since I saw them last but I'm happy to be back with them again. I'm the happiest when I'm with my family at home in Dallas. We may all live in LA most of the time but I will still forever call Dallas home.

Right now would be picture perfect if only we weren't missing Kelci. Although I doubt that if she was here she'd talk to me anyways. Kelci & I's relationship is strained to say the least. Which is all my fault, but this time home I'm determined to make it everything up to her somehow.

"Dem?"someone calls, pulling me away from my thoughts

"Huh? What did you say? Sorry I'm just a little jet lagged!"I apologise as I turn my attention back to my family

"How have you been?"Mom asks with a worried look on her face. She asks this question every time we haven't seen each other in awhile.

"I've been great yeah, everything is going good. I'm really happy and even more happy to be home. Finally some time to relax"

"Well I'm glad to hear that!"

"So maddie got any gossip? What's new?"

"No I haven't we legit talked yesterday"

"So what. A lot can happen in a day!"

"Yeah well maybe in you life but not in my boring school life"She laughs

"Kelci still not home?"Dad asks as he walks back into the room cups of tea in hand.

"Nope, she late again. She's gonna get in trouble"Maddie teases

"Hmm we will see about that"Mom sighs as she looks at the clock

"She is probably in detention again"Maddie suggests

"Detention again? What is that a regular occurrence?"I question, confused by this. The last time I was here mom&dad couldn't give enough praises about her behaviour.

"Lately it has been yeah. She's just got a bad attitude towards everything at the moment"

"That and she's just a little shit"Dallas adds

"A little shit? She used to be so well behaved"

"She was yes, but 'was' being the keyword. She isn't anymore she the complete opposite now"

"I wouldn't go that far Dallas. She isn't on her best behaviour right now no but if I remember correctly both you & Demi went through your own phase of being rebellious. This will pass"Mom says which seems to quieten us all down.

Seconds later we here the front door bang shut before footsteps running up the stairs. I hear mum sigh loudly, so I'm guessing that was Kelci who just got home.

"Well at least she came home today"
