It's been a while since WAW guested in ASAP, so it felt somewhat new to him, as weird as it sound. It wasn't very different in other music programs, but they did have a different batch of guests lined up compared.

Backstage, staffs were setting things up as artists, managers and the like idle, waiting for the recording to start.

James sat on one of the benches close to the door, looking at people pass by him back and forth. Two of his friends, Quen and Inigo were sitting beside him, busy with their own worlds. Inigo is listening to some music while Quen is looking up the ceiling seemingly half-tired, half-bored.

James realized Bret wasn't near at all. Searching around the room, he spotted him by the stage, talking to someone. He recognized that someone as Nadine Lustre, Pop Girls' leader.

Nothing was really going through his head as he watched them. It was something Bret usually does. He just sort of talks to everyone. It's nothing to do with Nadine Lustre being pretty and sexy (at least not much, he thinks), Bret had been like that since before. He was just naturally friendly and a little nosy (though yes, he do likes pretty girls).

He blinked when both Bret and the Pop Girls leader looked back at him. He wondered if they were talking about him, but dismissed the thought immediately. Bret might be saying something about WAW as a duo, or they just felt his stare.

Bret waved at him and Nadine gave him a little smile. A little perplexed, he returned the wave and smiled.

The two went back to their conversation and James turned back to staring at random people.

James couldn't help but smile as he stared at the little fluffy guy. He felt a little sad that he couldn't actually touch him if he didn't want to have rashes or nasal congestion. It really is hard to be a cat lover and have cat allergies. He guessed he was stuck with Esmeralda Panther Cake.

He hadn't notice that someone had arrived, and was standing just a foot away from him.

"There you are..." She said and James almost jumped. He looked sideways and realized it must be the cat's owner. She was also staring at the little guy.

With a blink, he realized she is in disguise--a baseball cap and shades. He didn't need to look closer, he recognized her at once: Nadine Lustre of Pop Girls.

She looked back at him and James could see the recognition in her eyes. She smiled in greeting. James returned it.

"Is he yours?" He asked, so as not to be rude and because he is curious.

He was surprise when she frowned. It was more of a pout actually. "No, she's my sister's." She said.

"Oh, it's a she." He commented.

Nadine smiled again and nodded. "I'd like to have a cat, too. But I'm allergic. It's hard to be a cat lover and have cat allergies." She said, looking back at Karasu.

"I know. I also have allergies." James only said. "That's why I settle for Esmeralda Panther Cake. He's my imaginary cat." He said, without thinking.
