very very short drabble.

timeline: JaDine together in an acting workshop after the first one in 2012 (James' elevator moment) and before Alam Niya Ba.

Nadine's POV

He's staring at me.

James Reid.

You know his blank face? That face he makes that you couldn't figure out what he's thinking or if he is thinking at all? That face was staring right at me from the other side of the studio.

I couldn't understand why he does it and I couldn't really understand myself but I stared right back at him.

I don't even know him. Have we met before? I think we've had a workshop together before? Ugh, I can't remember.

He raised a brow at me but just that. I still didn't know what goes on in his head. Why is he looking at me like that??

Confused as I am, I just continued to stare. It had become some sort of a contest. And I can't let myself lose.

I don't know why, I just can't okay?

He stared at me.

I stared back.

His eyes are beautiful, I have to admit.

He still stared.

I still stared.

How is he managing that poker face?! Knowing myself, I've prolly displayed everything I'm feeling on my face.

And still, he stared. He's not even listening to our facilitator anymore (neither am I, but it's his fault!)

Yup, still staring at me.

He, with that blank face never stopped staring.

What is he thinking???

I...

I couldn't take it anymore. I looked away.

And then, I heard him laugh.

I felt my face burn. I don't know why but I felt so embarrasssed.

I took a peek at him again.

He was still staring, but now he has this smile.

WHAT IS HE THINKING???

Waah, my face feels so hot!! >.<

James couldn't help but grin. He can't stop seeing that Nadine's face in his head. He didn't really know what had gotten to him earlier, but it was fun. She was so cute, being confused and all.

He let out a little chuckle. He couldn't stop thinking about her facial expressions.

He heard a bell, alarming him that the lift has arrived. He was still smiling as he got on to the elevator, still thinking of his bizzare but funny moment with a girl he only knew by name.

It was a good day, he supposed. Fun workshop this morning and now, he has a meeting with Boss Vic about his first ever music video.

Yup, definitely a good day.
