He tried to remind himself they were acting. He wasn't James right now, he's Clark. He heard Direk say "Action!" and at once he started acting as how he was instructed earlier. But then everything felt natural, and again it just feels like he isn't really acting. He watched as she acts as she was instructed as well-- as Leah. But he looks at her eyes and he didn't see Leah in front of him, he saw Nadine. And he knew it was the same for her.
She started smiling at him and in that few seconds he forgot. He forgot about all the people watching them, he forgot they were working, he forgot it was supposed to be all an act. There was only one thought in his mind at that moment: "Yeah, I don't mind spending the rest of my life like this."
But Direk said "Cut!" and the moment was gone. He started quietly reprimanding himself for being distracted yet again. But then she started laughing and when he glanced at her, she was looking sheepish. And he couldn't help but laugh as well. Because he knew it was the same for her.
