Right near the heart, but deeper than that,
Smart as the brain, but clearer than that.
In the center of your chest, right where your 'You' is best.
Open and Clear, in few, hiding, in some, awaiting a test.
Wishing you could laugh and cry,
Wishing you could scream and sigh,
Wishing you could fight a war,
Wishing you could bring Peace from Heaven's door.
This is where your soul is,
Whether you feel it...not my guess.
Very few feel it all the time.
I know one of them—but she's all mine.
