"I'm Fine."

Inside my mind, you do not know

What goes on inside; I don't show.

Sometimes it's calm, like a blue sea,

Other times, I'm a ship tossed thusly.

Sometimes it's filled with unreasonable rage;

Then frustration and loneliness take the stage.

I try to hide it, but it breaks through

To a world I never meant to show you.

The beautiful forests, the streams of tears--

The darkest caves of my darkest fears--

This is what resides inside the head I call mine

But if you ask if I'm alright, I only say, "I'm fine."
