Dear Whoever Is Listening...

This is the prayer of a girl breaking.

I'm asking for a bit of help today...

I couldn't bring myself to say

Before that I needed some assistance

But here I am, with much grievance. 

I ask for some joy, for others and I.

I ask to look up, and see blue sky.

I plead for good grades, and a worldly chance.

I pray for the world's beauty, and a romantic dance.

I beg for humanity,

And good charity.

I ask for love, I ask for life

I ask for a less painful strife.

I ask more for others than for me

I don't really need these things, see...

I just want everyone to be happy forever.

Maybe that's greedy, but I don't bother.
