Stopping time is hard, you see;
Lots of Mathematics, and History.
Freezing us right where we stand,
It takes a lot—you wouldn't understand...
And as far as I'm concerned,
This world would be a little burned,
If we left it standing there,
Nothing moving—not a hair.
Let's all live in the time we're given,
And keep making moments worth livin'.
Because although our hearts are content,
There's someone out there, hurt or hell-bent.
The only way they'll get better is to keep moving on,
And see the light of a newer, better dawn.
Stopping them at their worst and saddest,
Is not worth all our gladness.
Plus, wouldn't you want more than one good time,
To put under your belt, another silver dime?
