Rouge's POV~
Once school was over, and I told Shadow goodbye, I went home.
As I walked through the door, I noticed my parents looking at me.
Where they waiting on me to get home? Seriously?
"Hi Mom, hi Dad," I said as I shut the door behind me, "Um, need something?"
"We need to talk about this boy you're seeing, even though we told you to stay away," my dad answered.
I sighed and sat on the couch, "Go ahead," I mumbled.
"Why would you still see him even after your mother and I told you not to?"
"Dad, he's such a sweet guy. He hasn't hurt me in any way, nor has he put me in danger. There's no reason why I shouldn't see him."
"Oh really?" My father replied, "Maybe you shouldn't see him because we told you not to!"
Here we go..
"He hasn't done anything wrong!"
"He's a bad influence on you, Rouge!"
"No he's not! You don't even know him!"
"He's gonna ruin your chances at college!"
"How in the hell would he do that?!"
...
Oh no.
I ran as fast as I could upstairs to my room. As soon as I entered, I locked the door.
Now they're really gonna kill me.
My parents have never heard me swear, because I knew if they did, they would take anything I liked away from me as punishment.
My phone!
My father began to beat on my door, "Open the door, Rouge!"
I pulled out my phone and texted Shadow:
"I'm about to get my phone taken away. I'll see you at school tomorrow. Don't text me until I let you know I have it back."
"Okay, tell me at school tomorrow what happened."
"I will, see you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow babe."
I took a deep breath and opened the door, my dad was furious.
"Did I hear you say 'hell'?"
Uh, no?
I just looked at him with the biggest 'I'm sorry' look I could give.
It wasn't enough.
"Give me your phone."
I sighed and handed it to him.
I'll get it back later.
I didn't get it back later.
