Hindi nagtagal eh dumating na ang iba sa kung saan kami. Clarisse and others were looking at us with wide eyes, gaping.
"What happened here?" Jessica asked.
"We fought with him." I looked at her with a mix of anger and disappointment in my eyes. "But he escaped, he was just so strong . . . It was as if he's invulnerable . . . impenetratable perhaps."
Nathan sighed beside me and patted my shoulder. "It can't be helped Athena. He's the Dark Prince so it's considerable. We still need more training."
Hindi na ako sumagot, ewan ko ba. I was disappointed and angry at myself, I haven't even manage to scar him. How could I kill him at all? But I know Nathan's right, he's the Dark Prince and I'm just a student still lacking in experience. We still need more training and time will come we'll be figuring this out ourselves.
We also need to be strategic and not just strong in terms of power.
"How was the civilians? the other mages? Were they affected?" This time ako naman ang nagtanong.
Umiling lang sila. "Everyone seemed oblivious to what is happening but they were all safe. Nothing seemed to attack or harm anyone." I immediately sighed in relief after hearing those.
I was so preoccupied I haven't noticed I'm still merged with my two spirits. I immediately cancelled it and unsummon them.
Our attention were drawn to Laurence when he staggered backwards, eyes closed and he held his head as if it was hurting.
"What's happening Laurence? Are you okay?" I asked.
