We were momentarily blinded after we entered the door. I quickly lifted my hands to block the scorching and blinding sunlight because it seems like it was directed to us. I had a hard time adjusting to the surrounding because it was too dark earlier. And now, it feels like hundreds of flashlight were directed to our faces.

I slowly put down my hands and my eyes immediately squinted. The light, still hurts my eyes. The first thing I felt and noticed was the unbearable heat. Hindi pa kami gaanong nagtatagal dito pero ramdam ko na agad ang pawis na namumuo sa noo ko. It's as if we're in the middle of a desert.

I scanned the surroundings and its obvious that it's changed. It's completely different from the forest we were at earlier. This time, the surrounding looked like a city but abandoned. The place really looked deserted. There were buildings, skyscrapers and everything that's to be expected in a city yet there were no people around. The entire place is almost fascinating except for the broken glasses, windows, and even buildings. Yes, almost all of the buildings were ruined but all of it are still intact. Because of the absence of people, the place was eerily quiet I almost thought about zombie apocalypse. A chill ran down my spine. This dimension is really freaking me out. One minute it was too dark and we're almost killed by werewolves, dark magic and some kind of a full-of-shits-door and now it's too hot and we're inside of a deserted city.

"Whoa, parang yung lugar lang sa Maze runner: Scorch trials." I heard Thalia said. Nanlaki naman ang mata ko ng dahil doon.

"Nanunuod ka nun?!" Gulat na gulat na tanong ko. Napairap naman si Thalia at narinig kong tumawa si Jessica at Clarisse.

"Yes bes, siguro naman nakita mo yung tv sa living room natin ano? Hindi lang natin nagamit dahil masyado tayong naging busy. And besides, anong tingin mo sa'min? isolated na isolated ganon?! Aba naman Athena insulto ah!" Nagsitawanan naman sila dahil doon. Napatango tango naman ako, oo nga pala, may tv nga pala sa living room. Sa sobrang daming nangyari halos pagpapahinga na lang pala ang nagawa namin kapag may free time.

"Tsaka Athena, hindi rin naman ganun kalaki ang difference ng mundo sa labas tsaka mundo natin. Powers lang ang naiiba tsaka wala tayong entertainment industry and the likes, mga ganon. Kaya nga may nagbebenta ng DVD's sa market eh. Ano na lang ang magiging buhay natin kung parati tayong nagsasanay diba? Haynako, mababaliw siguro ako." Sabi ni Thalia na oa na bumuntong hininga at napapaypay pa gamit ang mga kamay.

"Okay okay tama na muna yan. As much as I want to join the conversation and explain to Athena about this and that eh hindi ko na kaya. Ang init init! Siguro naman gusto niyo munang humanap ng masilungan ano?" Sabi ni Jessica na nakapameywang pa. Napatawa naman kami at nagsimulang maghanap ng silungan. Tama naman kasi siya, ang init init talaga! Sobra!
