War among the guys was starting again. Glenn was being annoying yet a gentleman, while Zen was quieter, calm but tensed all at the same time.
Someone in class videoed down the scene of Glenn pulling me into a kiss and now the entire school is talking about it. Words spread fast but videos spread faster. Glenn is now so popular with the girls, till I'm receiving mild threats from his newly formed fan club.
Zen knew about it and he was trying to protect me from all the nonsense I have been receiving from others. As Glenn shone like a star in school, I too was receiving more attention than before.
The number of suitors increased and once in a while, guys would try Glenn's act on me. Luckily I was always accompanied by someone who will help me push them away.
"Morning, Harley!" Glenn shouted while he just entered the class. The guys in class cheered while the girls squealed. He was enjoying this a lot.
I ignored him and continued resting my head on the table. I felt a presence beside me and before I knew it, Glenn was whispering into my ear. "Love you, Harley." He laughed and went back to his seat behind me.
There were so many unanswered questions in my mind. Where was the nice Glenn I knew during that day's outing? Why doesn't he respect me anymore? Did he want more of my attention or the school's attention now? I couldn't keep my calm and turned back to face him.
"Why did you do that, Glenn? We were in class and I don't like the way you treated me in front of the entire class. Now look at the entire school, thinking that we are together or wanting us to be together. Is that what you wanted in the beginning?"
His expression of excitement from seeing me turn back to him, changed into a sour frown. "Don't you understand how it feels to see the person you like kissing another? Jealousy, right? Or maybe even worse, I can't describe it myself either. You knew how much you meant to me. I did not intend to let the whole school know, but now it seems to be in my favour. I don't care how the others think, what's more important is you not leaving me."
He reached out for my face, gently touching my cheeks. I couldn't move, it seemed like I was paralysed in his touch. I involuntarily looked into his eyes, I felt myself turning pink.
Glenn stood up from his seat, went across the table and kissed the cheek he just caressed. I jumped from shock and the class screamed in delight.

I was having dinner alone cooked by one of the chefs that come to my house every night. The creamy spaghetti was filled with toppings I love, mushrooms, egg, sausages and seafood, but I was twirling my fork into the noodles, staring into space.
"Harley, why are you spacing out? Eat your food." I was surprised by the sudden entrance of my brother.
"Hey, Clark."
"What's wrong darling? No appetite?"
"I just don't know what to do about certain things."
"Would you like to say it out?"
I knew my brother would be very protective of me. Telling him the problem is like asking death upon myself. But I have to get it out of my chest since now Zen is no longer a person I can easily open up to, about this situation that is. I unknowingly gave off a constipated look of confusion.
"Harley, say it out. I won't kill you, I'm here to help you. Your face is telling me you're sick. Very sick. Or maybe you will like to go to the toilet first?" He was clearly trying to control his laughter.
I couldn't laugh, I just stared at him without emotions.
"Okay, Harley. Open your mouth and speak, now." There were anger and signs of worries written all over his face. I can tell he was starting to panic. I too, was starting to panic from the way he reacts.
"I'll tell you later, Clark. Let's enjoy dinner."
I really felt reluctant to tell him.
