The day ended fast with Wendy around. Time would speed up and laughter would double. I wanted to approach Glenn and asked him, why he doubted Wendy upon the first meeting, but she was always with me. Glenn was still giving me my personal space, though all I want is to ask him questions now.

I reached home to see Clark having dinner on his own. He was having his favourite meaty dish, consisting of beef steak, chicken cutlet and sausages.

He saw me entered and spoke with his mouth rather full. "How was your day today at school?"

"It was great. Wendy came back to school and Zen started talking to me again." Every mention of Wendy kept me thinking about what Glenn said. I showed Clark a face of disappointment without knowing.

"Wendy? What happened to her? It has been a while since I had last heard her name."

"She had a blood clot in her brain after an accident and was finally back after months. I forgot about her existence, though I didn't realise she was missing from all the stress I was having. Oops." I chuckled.

"That's my baby sister." He laughed. I rolled my eyes and he laughed harder. "She isn't important. What's more important now is your engagement."

"Why is she not important? She's a friend of mine."

"Sadly, I only trust Zen and Glenn among all your so called 'friends'." He put up his hands and highlighted the inverted commas with his fingers.

"Why do you and Glenn said the same thing about Wendy? He just met her today and within minutes, he told me not to trust her. Tell me, what's wrong with her?"

Clark pondered for a moment. "Glenn actually thought so too. He has good judgemental skills. No wonder he chose you as his fiancée."

I rolled my eyes at him. "Clark Levin. You are not answering the question."

"Sorry, I won't tell you. For this case, you will learn it yourself. She isn't that harmful so I'm doing this. If not, I would have made her leave school for your sake."

I nodded and walked away. I was not pissed or annoyed, I was neutral about it. When my brother does not want to say it, he will not say it. I trust the way he judges people. I guessed I just have to put my guard up against her.
