It has nearly been a week since Eric had been following me. Glenn assigned him to me every day, even when I was busy with my assignments. His definition of my personal space meant that I will be alone, but he has to be a couple of metres away. Someone he trusts must be with me always.

I found it ridiculous to have a bodyguard in school, though having Eric around made me happier than seeing the looks on Zen's face. The gossip girl side of Eric was way unexpected of him. He is so manly but he spoke like a bitch around me. A week had already passed since the dinner with my possible future in-laws.

Glenn respected my choice and did not ever came to me for the past few days. We would smile at each other but never spoken a word, I was thankful for that.

Zen was not himself for the first few days until recently he started smiling. I guessed the silence treatment to both was working. He was back to himself by the time the week ended. However, there was not even a hi or a bye from him when we coincide.

As for me, I was still unclear about what to do. The only thing I know is that I have to marry Glenn in the coming years if I have no objections to it. Honestly, I have nothing to lose. He was good to me. In fact, too good.

But I had just confessed to Zen last week. How is it possible to like two persons at the same time?

I pouted and rested my head on the desk while waiting for the next teacher to enter the class.

Barely even ten seconds, the door suddenly slammed open. "Harley Quinn!"

Oh. My. God. Wendy is back. I had totally forgotten about her.

"Harley Quinn! I can't see you!" The class was originally noisy as hell but her sudden entrance killed it. She disappeared months ago, and I don't even know where she went.

She would not stop shouting the female joker's name, I gave up and raised my hand while I was still hiding from embarrassment.

Her footsteps were rushing towards me and I dreaded the possibilities of what she will do. Soon, she was whispering beside me.

"Harley! I had survived a car crash! I'm finally back to school!"

I shot up from my seat, trying to find any scars on her. She still looked like herself, she looked fine.

"What the heck. What happened? You're scar-free."

"Long story short, I wasn't looking and the car swerved towards the pavement, where I was. He was drunk, I was lucky that I survived the blood clot in my head."

My jaw just dropped and she laughed at my reaction. She continued, "I'm fine. After the operation to remove the clot, the doctor said that there will be no side effect. I was really lucky."

At the time she stopped talking, our Geography teacher came in. I shooed her away to the only empty seat left at the back of the class. The news was too big for me to handle, making me lose focus during lessons.

When the class ended and the teacher left, I turned back, wanting to call for her. However, Glenn blocked me.

I gave him the eye contact for him to move away but he remained stone. He then returned the eye contact I gave him, giving me a quick unnoticeable shook of his head, mouthing: Do not trust her.
