Glenn POV
Finally, the first day of school. I was waiting for this since last year.
Ever since I found out where the love of my life is studying, I've tried ways to get transferred here. When I finally got a place in this school, I had to wait for their holidays to end. I missed her so badly. I don't even know if she remembers me. It has been a long while since the last time I saw her.
=Flashback=
Why is the weather so hot nowadays?! I need a cup of ice coffee badly.
I saw Starbucks nearby earlier and decided to walk towards it. The cold air cools me down upon opening the door. I take in a good deep whiff of the coffee aroma. Then there, in front of me, is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.
So classy, her side features are stunning. She gave off a wonderful glow of happiness. I can't remove my eyes off her. I can't describe how she makes me feel. She just feels... so right for me. So natural for her to cuddle next to me. I guess this is what they call it, love at first sight.
I ordered my Iced Latte and stand waiting for them to call for me. The wait for the coffee is the longest one ever. I stood there staring at her, fascinated by the way she laughed with her friends. They noticed me, pointing fingers and hinting her to look. I turn to face the counter and pretended to look around as if I've never been to Starbucks before. My face blushes as I heard them laugh.
Glenn! You have to take this chance and talk to her! At least ask her for her name, anything!
My conscience is eating me up. I have to do it. I must. I grab my coffee and walk towards the table of ladies.
"He's coming!" her friends whisper and giggle. Though they said it in a small voice, I can still hear them loud and clear. Everything related to her just magnifies for me.
"Hi, ladies.'
"Hi~" Said in unison, except her. She takes a sip of her coffee.
"Okay, I'm not going to beat around the bush. You girls obviously know what I want. My name is Glenn. And may I know yours?" I bow and gesture my hand towards her. Her friends giggle, again, non-stop.
"Hi, Glenn. Nice to meet you. For your information, you're the 3rd guy coming over to me. To make it fair to all and by the way, the other two are still in the cafe, I'm not revealing. Treat it as it's for your safety." She finally speaks. A deep voice yet so sexy and soothing.
I look around the cafe, catching the eyes of two average looking men glaring at me. I smirk back at them. I'm confident, somehow or another.
"Trust me, all I need is just your name and I will leave you alone. Treat it as all it takes for my own safety."
She look amused at my answer, taking a while to consider. "I'm Harley. Nice to meet you, Glenn."
=End of Flashback=
That happened one and a half years ago. Why so long, you may ask? I had to research about her. Not to stalk, but just to find her. Maybe you can call it stalking, but I find that unnecessary.
I hired five Facebook experts to find her online, another five for Instagram and three for Twitter. It took them at least two months to get the full list of Harleys and four months to reduce them to the top 3 choices, three for each social media. They were only able to reduce the choices when I drew the complete picture of her. And yes, I love Art.
As I stepped into the classroom, she was the only focus in my view. Oh so beautiful... I subconsciously walked towards her until I realized she was talking to a guy diagonally across her. Jealousy overcomes me. I want to get my subordinates to throw him out of the classroom, leave this school and never come back to talk to my Harley. Sounds like an obsession but no, she will be mine eventually.
I took the empty seat behind her. Either she rests her head on her arm or gives no damn about anyone who walked past her. I'm slightly annoyed when she didn't turn her head as I purposely try just to get her attention.
Our form teacher enters the classroom and asked for volunteers for class reps. Class reps. I had been there. My class was co-operative with me but I don't know about this one. I shall continue to lay low. Until Mr. Good-looking raised his hands.
Oh no, am I ever going to lose this battle to him. I'm going for it. I raised my hand without thinking of the possible consequences. Everyone turned towards me and stared.
Ms. Rain was surprised of my new presence in class. She asked for my name and Harley started fidgeting in her seat. Finally, she turned her back to me, looking rather confused. Those eyes of hers...
Hi, Harley. I mouthed, smiling back at her.
