It was similar, but not the same. In my world, my father was not the engineering success he is here.

My mother died of illness, which left the three of us. Me, Megami and my father were happy enough, but poor.

Father refused to get a normal job, instead dedicating all his energy into creating. He invented many fantastic gadgets which in this world boosted his famous company.

However, father never paid any attention to these anymore after he had an idea. A big idea, one that changed everything.

He built a machine, strange but fantastic. It was going to be a milestone in human history.

As he spent all his time in the basement working on it, Megami took it upon herself to earn the family's money. She got a part time job and we managed fine.
