This marks about half way. I know I've already said this but I got the plan wrong last time. It's really half way this time XD. You've slogged through some pretty heavy stuff, so this is sort of a relief chapter. Enjoy!

The lot of us took off and headed back to where we had fallen, flying back up the trunk of the tree which seemed much shorter at the speed we were going. Pit flew alongside the birds, Owain with me on Zapdos and Articuno carrying Wario and Samus (who had put her suit back on).
Pit, bored, started a conversation.
"So Samus, how are you today?"
"considerably worse now you've started talking, you?" she replied. Wario couldn't help but chuckle to himself given the look on Pit's face on receiving a response he wasn't expecting.
"Pit," Owain started "What's it like to be an angel?"
Pit glided over so he was now between the two birds and could talk to Owain easier.
"It's just like being a human, but instead of being born you get sculpted from clouds by Lady Palutena herself. That's why angels are always lighter than humans, it helps us fly too!" Samus laughed and replied
"I bet that's what makes you soft in the head, it's just clouds up there!". We all laughed at this, Pit included.
"How about a game?" Wario proposed. Our attentions turned to him, and he continued "it's called 'guess what Wario does for a job'. The game is simple, all do is try and g-"
"guess what you do for a job? We gathered that much." I interrupted jovially.

"on the count of three, all say your guesses. Ready?" Wario counted down from three and we all gave an answer. Owain guessed a stonemason. Pit guessed a professional shouty man. Samus guessed he was fat for a living. I guessed a falconer.

We all laughed at the absurdity of our guesses before Wario revealed that he was actually an electrician. Pit observed his "bulky but nimble" fingers and suddenly it made sense to him apparently. I still didn't get it.

Samus told us that we were approaching Plegia II, and so we made our conversation more serious.
"What will be our tactic?" Pit asked, clearly looking to Owain for answers as he was the most knowledgeable about our enemy.
"I suggest, if I may, that we enter and pretend to have given ourselves up to Samus. We then make a break for it once on the inside to give ourselves a chance of taking out Gangrel." Owain replied, looking around to see affirming nods all around.
"sounds like a plan, my friend." I replied. The castle that housed Gangrel appeared on the horizon.
