Oops it took me like a month to write this. Sue me!I remembered my home back in Midgar and how it had been taken down. I remembered the majesty of Pit descending. I remembered my fight with Owain. I remembered the ascent of the mountain. I remembered that right now I was below a legendary pokemon that was about to end me.
Suddenly, one of the Dragonites came hurtling towards Zapdos and tackled him to the ground and dug it's claws into him, making him screech once again. I ran in and sliced at the Dragonite's wing, creating a tear in it and causing it to recoil. A wicked bolt of lighting struck it dead and it fell to the ground, limp and lifeless. Zapdos gave me a look that showed it's understanding of what side I was on.
One of the fiery dogs advanced towards me, which I remembered Owain called an Arcainine, and bared it's fangs. I readied my sword just as it pounced, jabbing at it twice in quick succession before the both of us drew back a step. I lunged hard, almost jumped in fact, at the Arcainine with my sword first. It sank into the beast's head and all was over with a short yelp.
A pair of Nidokings came up on either side of me, each throwing heavy punches that I had to swiftly dodge and duck around to keep my head on my shoulders. One swung low and took hold of my shin, and then proceeded to pull me into the air and hold me aloft roughly 5 feet above the ground like a rag-doll. The other took a strong swing at my chest and with a large thud the air was knocked completely out of me and my grip loosened, letting my sword clatter to the floor. I was then dropped, landing on my upper back. Unable to move, or even function at all for that matter, I watched helplessly as one of the Nidokings raised a foot onto my chest and began to press my body into the ground. With dulled senses I heard one if them chuckle like a mean school bully teasing a kid. Two streaks of blueish light flew one after the other at the Nidokings and they fell backwards. Pit ran over and looked at his achievements with a triumphant fist pump before tending to me.
"are you all right?" he asked me. Coming back to my senses I felt a sharp and stabbing feeling in my chest.
"I think..." I struggled to say through gritted teeth "I think I've got a broken rib, I can't get up."
