I've decided to stop apologising for lateness. I'm a busy guy ok!

We flew towards it and were eventually joined by people riding winged horses to escort us down to a runway of sorts that led to the castle doors. Heavily armoured guards with lances marched us in once we were on the ground, each so surrounded with metal that only their uncovered heads were visible amongst the almost bulbous layers of red metal plating.
"some of the scariest lobsters I've ever seen." Wario muttered quietly, and for once his ill timed joke had a positive effect on me. We knew what we were doing, and no lobsters with pointy sticks would stop us!

Samus walked ahead of us, playing her role of victorious hunter almost too well. Being honest I didn't think she was even acting at one point, before being reassured by a wink back in our direction as we moved towards the throne room doors.

At the other end of the room a throne of gold, silver, and other precious metals stood on an elevated plinth, a man, presumably Gangrel, sprawled inside it as if it were a casual armchair. He rose, his subjects bowing as he did so. Red curls of hair hung around his face, interrupted only by a strangely dainty crown atop his head. He stood quite tall and looked muscular, yet the manner in which his posture was kept was that of a camp street merchant. A big, black fur collar engulfed most of his neck topped a floor-length yellow cape.
"I asked for a bird. I have a band of miscellaneous miscreants and two birds. If this is some bid to get you paid extra then you can look elsewhere! They're all ugly little things anyway, unlike my majesty Gangrel here. I'll take Articuno and have done with them all." He said, his voice daunting yet somewhat unexpected due to his appearance.
"Hey! I'll have you know we're warriors! We're not kids! And anyway, you're the ugly one in this situation!" Pit blurted out. My palm hit my forehead in sheer unbelief. An indescribable look passed Gangrel's face. Horror. Pain. Hatred. All of these and many more. Coldly, with almost zero intonation in his voice, Gangrel replied
"Someone fetch me a sword and a chopping block. I'll kill them all. I'll do it myself."

His subjects all scurried around in search of these items while Gangrel remained staring intently at us all. Pit had really gone and done it this time.
