The water was chilling and seemed to go on forever downwards as I eventually slowed and resurfaced.
"HEY GUYS! IS ANYONE DEAD YET?" Wario yelled down to us.
"Nope, all alive and well Wario!" Pit responded.
"Well, I hope you're successful because the only way you're gonna get out of there is on the back of Articuno. It's a whole new world down there, with its own astromically themed nightmare fuel."
"Ok Wario! We'll take care!" Pit said not quite understanding what Wario had said. We carried on and found a staircase and ascended it. We quickly found ourselves in some sort of tower with cog mechanisms above us that clunked rhythmically. A set of double doors stood in front of us and we all looked to each other before exiting them. The gentle hubbub of a town greeted our ears as we exited the doors. However, something felt strange. Something just wasn't right. There was a sky... In a place that we came to by heading downwards underground... We began to walk forwards to what looked like a gate to exit the town, looking behind me to see we had emerged from a clock tower. But then I saw something that would surely, now understanding what Wario had said, fuel nightmares to come.
A great asteroid that looked like a moon hovered above. Even more disturbing was that it had a face with multicoloured eyes and a large gaping mouth, as if it were coming to take a bite out of the clock tower.
"Looks like Termina is about to be terminated, wouldn't ya say?" Pit chuckled
"Are you always so insufferable? Or can that be terminated too?" Owain said, wiping the smile from Pit's face.
We approached a guard and inquired as to where in Termina we were.
"You're in clock town, lad. Central to all of Termina. If you like I can direct you where you want to go. There are four exits, one facing each compass point. Where are you likely to be going?" he said to us.
"Probably somewhere cold, mountainous, that kinda thing." I said to him.
"then you'll be wanting the north exit, leading to snowhead. That's plenty cold enough. This here is the south exit so you'll be off that way." he replied, pointing past us and the clock tower. We thanked him for his time and left him at his post.As we were walking up towards the north of clock town, I got hit by something from behind and I fell to the ground.
