"My son, look up and hug your aged father" Robin said, spreading his arms as wide as he could to welcome his son in. Owain looked up at his Father's kind eyes and ran into his embrace. He audibly sobbed as Robin's arms closed around him.
"Fear me not, Owain. All is forgiven. It were the bandits to blame for our dear Morgan's premature death, not yours. I was wrong to have ever entertained the idea, let alone believed it." Robin said. Despite usually being more eloquent than any of us, Owain could say nothing but three words.
"I love you."
"Me too Owain. I love you too and I missed you ever so much. I have yet to give you a gift. The third and final gift to your group." Robin said. Owain let go of him and stepped back. From inside his robe, Robin produced an item that I had only heard of in legend. Robin the Saviour's spellbook.
"In here are incantations stronger than any you could cast alone. Magic from Yilisse, from Hyrule, from all over the realms. A gift from a proud father to a willing son. I'm happy that I'm giving this to you, after Red chose pokemon over magic I'd feared that these spells were to be lost to time and tragically forgotten." Owain took the spellbook and began to flick through the pages briefly before hugging his father once more.
"I now speak to all of you," Robin began. "you have fought longer than most would have. Harder than most would have. And with purer motives than most would have. Each of you wish to settle personal grievances. Wario, you seek to breach your cousin's shadow. Samus, you seek to earn an honest living and not have to hunt any more. Pit, you seek to avenge your angel friends that fell with Hyrule. Cloud, you seek to find peace in yourself after seeing your village destroyed and wish to prevent others feeling the same. And Owain, oh son, you seek for your father's approval of you by being a greater hero than he ever was. I can say this to all of you quite easily: you will succeed, provided you heed the advice I give you now. My fallen friend and brother in law told me this as he died, and it has been to this day the most sound advice I've heard in all my 53 years. Believe in your strengths. With that, adieu. Go. Fulfil your destinies, and become the heroes I know you can be." Robin saluted us, and we saluted back. We all turned and went our separate ways.
"Hey, you! You're not getting away with what you did to my sister!" Red shouted.
