Reversed

CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

I instinctively drew my sword and charged at Mewtwo. As I lunged blade first, the creature before me merely swept his pearly white arm in an arc to send me hurtling to the side by some unseen force. Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres all took to the air and began an onslaught of ice, fire, and electricity. At once Mewtwo curled itself into a tight ball and a pale white barrier engulfed him in order to absorb these attacks with ease. Next to make a move was Pit. He strode into the battlefield with his bow brandished, making moves towards where Mewtwo had now stood up within his shield. Pit took a knee about ten paces in front of his target before pulling an arrow back in his bow. He loosed the projectile and rolled aside to shoot another. Mewtwo looked at one arrow and violently threw his head to one side, sending one arrow into the course of the other. Samus dove out and shot at Mewtwo with her gun in an attempt to divert his attention. The pale menace rotated to face her and held out an outturned palm towards her, sending a small volley of purple shadow like pellets in her direction. She expertly ducked and weaved between these, shooting more lasers all the time. With Mewtwo's head still turned towards Samus, Owain took his chance to strike.
"SARLAAC TSOBO BEYEIGE" He beckoned with one arm outstretched, his Father's spellbook in the other. Before Mewtwo had a chance to react, a wicked red jolt of lighting shot from Owain's hand. On contact with the white shield a shattering sound was heard akin to a hammer being taken to a glass pane before the shield faded, letting through the torrent of the bird's attacks, Samus's gun, Pit's arrows and Owain's magic itself. I rushed in and brought my sword over my head to send cascading down onto Mewtwo. He swept his tail in a tight circle around him, sending me crashing to the floor. For a brief moment Mewtwo's skin flashed green, and then he stood as strong as ever above me. He began to speak.
"YOU FIGHT WELL FOR HUMANS. BUT MUCH TO YOUR DESPAIR I'VE A TRICK UP MY SLEEVE. THIS IS WHAT YOU CRETINS MAY CALL 'FIGHTING DIRTY'. FEEL MY WRATH!" Mewtwo let out a roar and tensed its body.

All of a sudden, I felt my rib crack and let out a cry of agony. I gaze around to see a deep gash open up in Samus's thigh. The birds each fell to the ground in an unconscious state. Pit screamed as his wings instantly began to break and bleed, then said through gritted teeth
"he's reversed all the times we've healed ourselves! All our wounds have come back!" he collapsed and sobbed in pain.
