I think this is about half way through. Unlike switched I actually planned this one out XD. This chapter took way too long to think out.

The beam struck just behind me, completely encasing and immobilising Samus. Untold malice and fear was clearly visible in the steely-eyed expression Articuno gave me. Her talons lashed at my person, meeting the flat of my sword time after time with skillfully timed blocking on my part. Pit and Owain both aimed at Articuno as she staged her assault on me. Pit loosed and arrow that was nothing of inconvenience to such an agile bird as Articuno. Owain's sword sliced past and then was shot with a beam of ice, faltering about in the air as Owain struggled to hold its new weight with his curse. The now enraged and frantic bird began to send gusts of bone-chilling air at us with each beat of her majestic wings, frosting our fingers and nipping at our faces. Spears of ice that seemingly appeared from nowhere dropped down around us, peppering the ground with spikes as each shattered upon impact with the mountain. Pit reluctantly recoiled to within the cave to avoid hypothermia, with Owain urging me to do so as well. Articuno landed before and screeched into my face, my body attempting to shiver but too frozen from fear. A beam of ice was preparing to be fired like the one that froze Samus, and I knew I probably wouldn't survive the cold.
Articuno screeched in pain as an arrow plunged into the back of her wing, distracting her long enough to allow me to retreat to the cave where my two allies had already situated themselves in a huddle. I peered out with blurry eyes to make out Zapdos floating with Wario aboard his back and some sort of green blob in his talons that fired a second arrow into Articuno's other wing.
"Link! Stop it! We don't want to hurt her any more than we have to!" sounded the similar bellow of Wario's voice. Zapdos put down the child before landing and allowing Wario to disembark and examine Articuno's wounds. I felt amply warmed as I stood up and re-emerged from the cave we had hidden in.
"She'll be ok, but she's not particularly happy." Said Wario, holding Link's arrows that had been pulled from Articuno's wings. He continued to say "so who's the icicle over there?"
"That's the girl from before, Samus." Owain responded.
"so... She's a Samus-cicle?" Wario joked.
