Ethan steps onto the set that's made to look like a living room. I become more and more anxious as he steps in front of the group of people.

"Okay, Ava, step onto the stage." as the lady says this a girl with red hair steps onto the stage and when she turns around my mouth drops open.

The girl standing on the stage is the same exact girl who we met in the cafe.

Ava

I curl my upper lip to keep myself from speaking. My mind whirling with thoughts that only made me assume the worst. The feeling of jealousy was slowly growing into my skin, filling my blood. Making my eyes go dark, and my mouth becoming a straight line. My mouth began to form the words my mind was screaming.

Ava has a huge grin on her face, I stare at her as she shakes hands with Ethan. She smiles and so does Ethan.

"Alright!" Says the lady, "Scene 2 please!" My heart beats faster and faster against my chest.

They both nod, Ethan sits down on the couch and Ava leans against the wall. I feel a stab of jealousy but shoved it down brutally.

And then it began.

They start yelling the lines I helped Ethan practice. But those words are nothing but muffled words that mean nothing to me.

Ethan stands up and marches his way towards Ava, impressing the group with his acting skills.

And then they kiss.

Ethan lips find Avas, her face is red but she quickly plays along. Her hands wrap around Ethans neck as he wraps his arms around her waist. Pulling each other closer.

Anger swirled like a red tide within me, rising to choke me. My breath became harsh and shallow, my hands automatically curling into fists at my sides, itching to swing out and put a dent in the wall beside me.

Without hesitation I turn around speed walking towards the exit, "cut!" I hear someone yell behind me. I don't stop, instead I quicken up my pace. "Mason!"

I'm running. My blood boils as I here Ethan catch up to me.

Almost out...

The exit is being guarded by all men in black.

Shit

I mindlessly run towards the closest room I see.

"Mason! Please wait!" I run into the room. It's some kind of office. It's empty.

I'm pushed against the wall. My head flung back hitting the hard white wall. The coldness of the wall seeps through my shirt. My eyes closed shut, I slowly open them to see Ethan struggling to keep me from running off again.

"Calm down." Ethan chokes out, his breathing is fast. "It's just a scene!" He yells after catching his breath.

I try to push him away but fail, his grip on my wrists just gets tighter.

I groan in frustration and anger as he pins my wrists above my head. "You have to understand," He says looking into my eyes, "It's my job. And you have to accept that."

"Shut up!" I yell in his face, hot tears making my surroundings blurry. "I don't care if it's your job!" I yell blinking my tears away. "When you told me you were becoming an actor, you asked if I was okay with it!" I yell letting my head hang forward. "And I was," I whisper, "because I didn't think I would have to see you kiss a stranger you just met two days ago!"

"God damn it Mason!" He yells finally letting go of my wrists. "Can you not complain about something for once?!" He yells pacing back and forth. "You know if I had a choice I wouldn't kiss her!"

He stops pacing and stands in front of me, "But you still don't trust me do you?" He runs his fingers through his hair. "Do you really think I would pick her over you?"

I stare at him, tears threatening to burst out. "You know what? I don't care what you do with your 'career'." I say finally looking up. "Go to LA! Go live the dream!" I say as Ethans expression becomes bitter.

"Go become a star on your own, because I'm not going to be there for you."
