"I think you look nice in the clothes you're wearing." I look up at my stylist and nod. "Alright. Sit down." I obey and sit down on the chair. She pumps the bar under the chair, raising me up in the progress.
She begins applying foundation on my face while I stare at myself in the mirror.
"I'm sorry about Mason."
I look at her in the mirror, and she stares back. I don't respond.

I laugh as they end the live broadcast. "Thank you for coming." The young lady says. I smile and nod.
"Your welcome."
I leave the music room and collapse onto a bean bag. "You just sung." Evan says sitting down next to me.
"I know. but I became really frustrated because I didn't sing it well."
"Don't let some song make you frustrated."
"I can't believe they want you to sing." He says scoffing afterwards, sarcasm laced with his voice.
"I mean I sing pretty good. But, I never wanted to be a singer or a dancer." I say letting a deep sigh leave my mouth.
"Oh, where's Carter."
"Home." I say standing up. "Why?"
"Just asking. You guys haven't talked?"
I shake my head no as I shove my hands inside my pockets, while we walk out of the room.
"Why can't you just talk to him?"
"What do you mean? You know?"
"Of course I do! Carter and I have been friends since we were three years old. Just talk to him. You know how he is."
I raise and eyebrow. "How he is?"
"Oh," He says a small chuckle leaving his lips. "Never mind then."
I raise an eyebrow and scoff. "Just tell me. What is it?"
"Nothing."
"Fine." I mutter and shudder as the cold autumn air sends a shiver up my spine.
