I slowly open the door to Ethans room. Ethans eyes are closed.
He's sleeping...
I push Liams stroller to the side. And kneel down next to Ethans hospital bed.
I gently hold his hand and plant a gentle kiss on it. Liam surprisingly doesn't cry as I whisper, "Ethan, I know you can still remember everything."
At least that's what the nurse said.
"You just have to try," I say as tears well up inside my eyes. "Try hard."
Ethan stirs a bit but doesn't wake up. "If you can just try. Try hard enough to remember how much you love me." I say as tear slowly trickle down my cheeks.
"Please, Liam needs you. I need you."
"Who's Liam?" I hear Ethan's raspy voice say.
I wipe my tears away and look up at him with a forced smile. "Him." I say pointing to Liams stroller.
"He's my kid?" Ethan asks confused. I nod and look up at him. "His name's Liam?"
I nod again and smile, this time it's real. "Yes, and we're both his parents."
His eyes widen a bit and his face contorts. "I'm," He pauses. "Gay?"
I laugh and nod. "You're also an actor. Your fans are all freaking out." I say absentmindedly.
"I'm famous?" I nod again.
"Sir." I turn around and see a nurse standing near the door. She waves for me to come and I do as I'm told. "I'll be back." I say with a smile.
Ethan nods and I stand up to leave the room. "Yes?" I say as I close the door behind me.
"We have some good news." She says excited. I nod and eagerly smile.
"Ethan, can recover his memory." I fell tears well up inside my eyes.
He's safe...
"Thank you!" I yell and hug her. "It'll take some time!" She yells as I enter the room.
"Ethan!" I yell but then stop as I see at Ethan.
"He's cute." He says carrying Liam in his arms. "How'd you get up?" I asked shocked.
"Crutches." He says nodding towards the crutches near his bed. "Oh, well. Good news!"
He looks up at me, confused. "What?"
"You can recover you memory!" I yell.
He smiles and looks down at Liam.
"That's good."
