Masons P.O.V

Ethan's coming back to New York. I feel anxious. I don't know what to expect.

"You okay?" I hear Carter ask as he walks into the living room after a long deep sleep.

"Yeah." I say standing up. "Did you sleep well?"

"No, I couldn't." I murmur as we both walk into the kitchen. "It'll be fine." He says moving his icy gray bangs away from his eyes. His eyes are an olive like green, bright and striking.

"I don't know how he'll react when he finds out I dated his manager while he was gone on a filming trip." I say sighing.

"Well, Evans coming over. So, maybe he'll brighten up your mood." He says flashing a smile.

"Maybe."

"Oh, come on!" Evan yells pulling me by my wrist as he drags me to the ice cream parlor. I groan but follow along, his grip doesn't loosen as we approach the entrance.

We order and sit down on the tall stools. "So, Carter told me you're anxious. Why? You know Ethan's an outgoing person. He's done mistakes before. And you have too."

"But, it's never been this big of a mistake." I say eating a spoonful of ice cream. Evan doesn't say anything.

Evan stares out the window, he steals glances and smiles at something out the window. "What?"

"Nothing." He says smiling at me. I raise an eyebrow and look at the door as it opens, a ring filling the air.

A guy with dirty blond hair walks in, he wears a black baseball hate and black glasses.

Black glasses.

It can't be him...

I almost choke on my ice cream as realization hits me. "E-Ethan!" I say right under a whisper. Evan smirks and laughs as I gulp my ice cream down. I pull my hoodie on and rest my forehead on the table, hiding my face.

"Long time no see." I hear Ethan say as he approaches our table.

Shit...

"Mason, I know that's you." He says pulling my hoodie off, causing me to look up. His face is framed by his newly dyed hair, a dirty blond. He smiles and sits next to me.

"So, what have you been doing these last few months?" He asks grabbing the spoon from my ice cream and eating a spoon full. I hear Evan giggle, like he enjoys my pain.

"Nothing." I say scoffing. Evan immediately stop and continues eating his ice cream quietly.
