I'm a panting mess as Carter kisses my collarbone, "Carter..." I whimper and dig my nails into his back. I skim my fingertips down his bareback and moan as he slowly pulls my jeans off.

"Let me please you." He says as he pulls my boxers off. I feel myself turning a crimson red as he stares at me, amazed.

"Ready?"

I sit up and groan as I rub my eyes, tired.

I look around the room spotting our clothes on the floor. I quickly change and walk down the hallway.

I think about last night and a small smile unintentionally appears on my face.

I didn't want to move on from Mason but, he's probably dead. It's been more than a month and no one has seen him. I have lost feelings for him. I want to regain them but how can I when I don't even know where he's at?

I sigh and sit on the stool, resting my head on the black island. I remember walking up to him at his mothers funeral. Sobs leaving his mouth. His eyes, vast and dark.

A year later he told me I was the reason why he found happiness. My love for him is collapsing. I can see the thing called the end. I sigh and lift my head up to see Carter, staring at me.

"I know last night was really weird. I just-"

"It's fine." I say, cutting him off. He looks at me for a few more seconds and nods. "I'm going to dye my hair today." He says a bright smile on his face. I raise and eyebrow, "Again?"

He happily nods, "What color?" I ask curious.

"Well, thats a surprise." He says, smirking. I nod "I was wondering-" The ringing of my phone interrupts me. I quickly answer it without looking at the caller. "Hello?"

"Ethan." I recognize that voice.

It can only belong to one person.

Mason.
