Mason P.O.V
I slowly open my eyes. I'm sitting on a stool in the kitchen.
I don't remember coming in here...
I stand up and make my way to my room. I look into the mirror as memories from last night come back. The sudden, deep pain in my heart was so bad, I felt like the whole world had come crashing down on me, and I collapse to my knees. Sobbing in my distress.
I cover my face with my hands as tears rush down my pale cheeks. I cry into my hands, almost thinking they'd absorb my tears like a sponge. My sobs fill the air, replacing the eerie silence.
After a few minutes I stand up and walk to the the window, the sunlight on my face will only bring a moments of happiness, for the light within me has been dimmed by heartbreak.

I wake up to the ringing of my phone. I groan and search my body for my phone. I quickly answer it. "Hello?" I manage to choke out.
"Ethan," It's that voice again. It's Abby. "I'm going to pick you up in ten minutes so we can go to the mall to buy your suitcases."
"Wait, What-" The constant beat of the phone cuts me off. She hung up.
I groan in frustrated and force myself to sit up.
I wonder how Masons doing...who cares if he's alright.
I manage to walk to the door mirror and look at my messy hair. I grab my black glasses from the coffee table and slide them on. I can clearly look at myself now.
I have black dark circles under my eyes, giving me a gloomy look. I run my fingers through my hair trying to tame it. A ring fills my ears and I quickly turn around and grab my phone. I read the text signaling me that Abby's here to pick me up.
I quietly walk to Carters room where he's slightly drooling, his soft snores are soothing. "Carter." I whisper in his ear. He shifts a bit, I slightly shake him by his shoulders.
"Carter." I say one last time before he slowly opens his eyes.
"What?" He says just loud enough for me to hear.
"I'm leaving." I say before standing up. He slightly nods before closing his eyes again. I walk out of his room, quietly closing the door behind me.

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" I ask as I sit down in the passenger seat.
"Look," she says driving out of the parking lot. "It's not my choice. You have to buy these things."
I don't answer after that. It seems like it only took five minutes to get to the mall.
As I glance out of the window, I see seas of people by the entrance of the mall. Most of them scream when we drive past them. I pull my hoodie over my black baseball hat, covering most of my face. "Come on." She says getting out of the car and letting one of the bodyguard in the drivers seat, signaling him to find a parking space.
I get out as more and more people scream when I walk past them. My name fills my ears as I walk towards the entrance of the mall. Bodyguards guard me from any crazy fans. I simply smile at the crowds of people earning more yells from the crowd.
"Stop showing off your smile and pick up the pace." Abby orders. I do what I'm told and hurry behind her.
