I sit on a stool in the kitchen, scrolling down social media. Everyone's still talking about the whole incident that happened a couple months ago.

I sigh and throw my cup of ramen in the trash can. I have to go to Lunar Entertainment to practice a song they've been wanting me to sing.

I stand up and walk up the stairs while keeping my eyes on my phones screen. I quickly change into some comfortable clothes. A olive green jacket with a white shirt, simple jeans and black ankle high boots.

"Where are you going?" I hear Carter enter the room as I slip my jacket on.

"Lunar Entertainment."

"Don't you think we should talk  before you leave?"

I pause and sigh. "I don't have time."

I turn around and grab my phone. "Bye."

"Wait." He grabs my wrist and looks at me. "Thank you."

I raise an eyebrow. "For what?"

"For dealing with someone like me. For dealing with my tears and wounds."

I stare at him and slowly walk away. He stares at the ground unable to look up.

I leave without looking at him. I can't bear seeing him like this but I can't become too close with him.

Because I know Masons still out there.

Somewhere.
