"What're you doing!?" I yell as we approach the entrance. We immediately catch everyones attention. "Look! Ethan!" I hear someone yell.

I look up at the crowd and my heart stops. The bodyguards run up to us and try pulling Mason away. "No!" I choke out tears welling up in my eyes. No one hears me. Instead they see me crying. Thinking Mason harmed me.

Mason doesn't let go causing one of the bodyguards to punch him in the jaw. He immediately lets go and falls onto the ground.

I scream. A bloody scream. Mason looks up at me, his eyes slowly closing.

I stare down at him guilt taking over my body. I stare at him, my eyes wide.

A dark puddle of blood surrounds his head. He has a small smile on his face as the bodyguards pick him up.

He tries his best to stand up. But still limps due to his dizziness. "Mason..." I whisper as streams of tears run down my cheeks.

"It's okay." Mason mouths. I sob, pathetic sounds escaping my lips. They start dragging him towards the exit. One of the bodyguards stays behind to make sure nothing happens to me.

"Emergency in main lobby." I hear the bodyguard yell as more bodyguards make their way towards us.

I lung towards the door, but the bodyguard grabs me by the arm and tries holding me back. I quickly push her away. And run out of the door, my hair dancing with the wind. "Mason!" I yell as I see them push him in the backseat of the police car.

"Please! You misunderstood!" I yell they ignore me and slam the door shut. They quickly get in as I run towards the car. Tears flying off my face as the cold wind swirls around me. The car drives off, closer and closer towards the parking lots exit.

"No!" I yell and sink to my knees. As the car drives off. I sob and cover my face with my hands. I scream as my heart aches. I scream until a crowd of people surround me.

"Are you alright?" I hear someone ask as they try and help me up. I push them away, preventing them from helping me.

I scream through my teeth in frustration and pull my hair as I regret ever breaking down. More and more tears roll down my cheeks. My heart aches leaving me a wheezing mess.

"Out of the way!" I hear a familiar voice yell, causing everyone to go silent. I look up my vision blurry. I see a man walking towards me.

Carter.

"Come on..." He whispers helping me up, he holds my arm like I'd break into a million pieces if he isn't careful. Like I'm glass.

"What happened?" He whispers as I stumble forward, almost losing my balance. I shake my head as I remember the puddle of blood on the floor.

I feel tears building up in my eyes as I remember Masons sad smile. Carter looks at me and quickly regrets asking. "Sorry..." He whispers.

Bodyguards immediately run towards us once they see us. Surrounding Carter and I.

"Ethan, we need you to com back inside." They say as I stare at them. Emotionless.

"Aish! Leave him alone. I'm his friend and I have the right to take him home." he says glaring at them. The bodyguards look at me and I nod reassuring them.

"Fine." One of them says harshly.

Carter helps me towards his car. "It'll be fine."
