like a drifting cloud
on a summer breeze
we have drifted somehow
and to me
it is sad somehow
that we grown apart
like a cresting wave
on an ocean swell
no longer engraved
its just as well
i'm no longer brave
'cause we have grown apart
just one more try
just one more time
just one more chance
will you be mine
we had it all
we made the call
and now you're leaving
like a rising sun
and a red horizon
i believe were done
there's no denying
it all came undone
since we have grown apart
like the darkest night
no light is shining
there is no delight
tears were crying
cloud our very sight
now we have grown apart
just one more try
just one more time
just one more chance
will you be mine
we had it all
we made the call
and now you're leaving
