alone

i know i won't live forever

that is a fact, simple and true

but as long as i live and breathe

i will keep loving you

i know i haven't always been

the man you want or need

but when i am with you

my heart, i have to cede

but i want to tell you this

while my thoughts are my own

when i am gone

i don't want you to be alone
