me

i know people look at me strange

a 60 year old with an earring

who wears colourful bandanas

and keeps a snow white goatee

i know i talk too much

and tend to come across the wrong way

i am a little assertive

and a tad opinionated

i sing out loud, walking through the mall

i dance at work to classic rock

i go shirtless in my garden

i even sometimes wear odd socks

i love to cause commotion

but also make people think

i give some people the total fits

and you know what?

i don't give a shit

because above all else

the thing i am most of all
