i was never one to be subtle
direct approach
that was always my way
so when you responded
immediately
i could see brighter days
we were so much alike
wild and free
we seemed to be connected
we dated for almost a year
then i asked
i didn't expect to be rejected
you said it would never be
chances nil
to much for you to carry
it was just a good time
diversion
from the man that you married
