we should not judge
lest we be judged ourselves
and what secrets would be revealed
that we have put on the shelves
not one of us are innocent
not one, no exceptions
because at some point in our lives
we have offered some deception
the truth is always best
but what lies will they reveal
what confusion will be caused
as we seek what is and isn't real
i believe the best case scenario
is to simply be the best we can
to treat people equally
child, woman and man
leave the judging to a higher power
whatever that power may be
do what you have to do
to live this life, conscience free
