She again sat, waiting for the right time to talk to Cara. Even though the place was not much that kind of private. She decided it'd be okay to just talk there inside. Everyone was busy, she'd said. There was Cara, walking towards the living room. She watched as she sat next to her. "Hey, there." She greeted. "Hello, Cara." She smiled and nodded. "So, who was that person buried there?" She asked, her face looked like she really didn't know. "It was Alistair, Cara. And I waited for you to talk." She answered slowly, and folded her arms. "It's him?" She stared at the air, her face as if she knew something else. But that disappeared when she realized that she was talking to Clarissa. "What's your question?" She asked.

"I just wanted to know the past again, Cara." She said. "If Fiona and that were connected after all?" She guessed. Clarissa frowned, and stared at her suspiciously. "How'd you know?" She whispered with the noise. "Uh.." Her eyes kept on rolling. "Wait, just wait." She said, her voice shaky. "No, they aren't." She answered briefly, and because of the quickness of her answer, Clarissa was surprised. She wanted to ask why she knew it, why it was so fast to answer her question. But she kept silent.

"Thank you for your help, Cara." She gave a fake smile. She thought about her answer, and doubted it. She knew clearly that maybe, just maybe, Fiona and Alistair could be related to each other. Because of her mother's kindness to anyone, it was simply impossible for someone to hate her. Except for her own sister, who hates her so much, as Elizabeth told her.

But, she never told her the reason why. She knew it didn't matter anymore, because of her sister's face, anyone could read that she was simply wicked already. She had to tell the problem, and get somebody's opinion out of it. Who knows it could help her confirm it. Cara finished her plate. "I'll just go there and get some more," she stood. "Are you full already?" She asked her.

"Yeah." She lied, and there was no time for her to eat. She had to get answers, though. She stared at her side when she left, imagining that Alex was there. She was still wondering, why he isn't coming back. And she was worried for him.

The whole afternoon was fun, until it was the night. When every visitor had to leave the house. Except for Jake and Clarissa, who was left behind. The couples sat, and faced them. "So, what's the problem?" Lucas started the conversation. "I've just seen you and Cara talk a while ago. And your face looked different, as what I've observed." Vanessa's volume of voice slowly was getting lower and lower. "Something's wrong with Cara." Clarissa said. "What is it?" Lucas asked quickly.

"I was asking about the body of Alistair there in the graveyard. It was supposed to be mom, if she was dead. But, they didn't only fake it, even that body they put it down there," she said. "And when I told her that I wanted to know the past, she quickly guessed that it was about Fiona and Alistair. And when I reacted, she began stuttering. There she took it as a 'no' just for the sake of me forgetting about that," she said and put her head nearer them. "Guys, I have a feeling she's lying to me." She whispered. "How could she possibly do that, Clarissa?" Jake argued. "I mean, how sure are you to tell that to us?"

Clarissa looked at her directly. "I know, Jake. I know that she is your sister. But, please. Could you just listen and believe me now?" She said. "Do I look like a liar here?" She pointed her own face with her finger. "No, of course not." Jake slightly made his eyebrows met. "Well, if the usual thing she's doing before announcing something is to close her eyes and read, then maybe she is." Lucas said as Clarissa stared at Jake. "She could've seen us talking about her right now, Clarissa." Vanessa gave her a wary look. "Don't be afraid, Nessa. If she saw this yesterday or whenever, then she could've told us the truth." She said sensibly.

"Okay, let's just ignore whatever happened today. I don't mean that we forget everything, but please, don't be too suspicious about her. Let's just be one once we observe another unusual thing, okay?" Jake told them. "Jake's right, Rissa." Lucas said.

She knew that Jake was right, she doesn't have to be too suspicious about her. But she also knew that she won't ever forget the line Cara told her. "Okay." She replied.
