Her mother immediately stood, then ran towards Cassie, pulling her into a very tight hug. She was really worried as she hugged her daughter. Cassandra stared at her mother, obviously she was asking her what she did. "I'm sorry." She whispered, kneeling down to reach her. And then she looked at her best friend, Andy. They have exchanged glances for a short while, his parents were worried. Clarissa stood, looked straight at the elder who looked normal, as if he nothing even happened.

"Why is that girl there?" She asked, her tone angry. She didn't even wait for the elder's answer, spoke quickly. "She's deadly, Cassie. Stay away from her." She told her daughter. "She's my friend, mommy." She replied, resisting. "I don't care. Just please, listen to me. We'll talk about this later," she stopped to look at everyone. "Let's all go home."

Everyone walked away, with Andy and Cassandra last in line. They both waved goodbye to Theresa, she gave a forced smile then also nodded.

They were home, as soon as they entered everyone's faces were full of relief. The both kids have already expected the next thing that will happen. The parents of the both looked at them, with a slight of anger coming back into their faces outside the house. They froze in place, everyone was surrounding them, as if it was something like an important interrogation covering a criminal case. "Both of you, please tell us what came into your minds that you planned to escape from us." Clarissa spoke, folded her arms.

The both looked at each other, they were scared. "We're sorry." Andy murmured. "That's not the answer to my question." She said quickly, shaking her head. "I'm sorry, I really am. It was honestly my fault, I thought about that. It was all me. I've led myself and Cassie to danger." His voice was shaky. "Didn't you know Theresa's harmful?" She maintained her calmness.

"Rissa, they're kids. Don't be too mad." Vanessa told her, then she sighed. "You didn't tell us about Theresa. She's just a kind friend of ours." Cassie answered. "Cassandra, Andy, listen to me. Let me explain to you. That girl you call Theresa, she is wicked, she is bad. She kills everyone mercilessly. Last time, when you two weren't born yet, Theresa tried to kill your mother just by her power, and that is letting you feel the worst pain ever. Like electrocuting you. You get me?" He asked, looking at the both scared, confused kids. They nodded at the same time. "That's why Clarissa's trying to tell you to stay away. You want to feel that? Of course, you don't." He said. "If you want to go to the forest, just tell us. And we'll go with you. It's for the safety."

"We're sorry." Andy once again told them. "It's okay, just don't do it again." Lucas spoke. "Did you two eat?" Vanessa asked, noticed the time was an afternoon. "Yeah, mom. The elder fed us. Theresa did." Andy replied. "What a surprise. They're kind enough to you." She murmured, said to herself.

Cassandra was resting on the couch, watching the television all by herself still in the Mullen's house. No one was in the loving room, just her. She noticed someone was walking, she turned her head to see, it was Andy about to join her. She smiled, then went back to watch.

"Cassie!" She heard someone whispering. She stood, saw Andy leaning his back on the wall, hiding, just between the closed door and the curtains. "Come over here!" He again whispered. She walked, stood in front of him. "Kneel down, I could hear your parents talking." He said, both were kneeling down to peek at the window. "And what?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Just listen, I think I heard two words: the elder." He told her. She narrowed her eyes as she peeked, listened deeply. "We have to go see the elder tomorrow, tell him that Theresa is dangerous." She had heard Clarissa said that, then took a sip of her cup of coffee or tea. "He knows everything, Rissa. He's the elder," Jake replied. "I think he knows what he's doing." He added.

"Then, I'll be coming to kill her. We never know, that young girl's strong. She might come here anytime, and the kids might be her targets. It's also possible that Fiona sent her daughter to the village to be a killer, even though you believe the elder knows that. All we can do to help is just warn the elder." She now put the cup down on the table.

"Killing her is the best solution, Jake." She finally said, Cassie stood, ran away upstairs. Those words were abusing her ears, and she couldn't handle it. Andy followed her run. "Where are you going, Cassie?" He asked as he chased her. She didn't respond, right after she sat on the floor. She hugged her legs.

"She meant it, Andy." She said, eyes staring at the wall. "I know." He said after he sighed, and went beside her. "Theresa's our friend." He added. "I know my mom. I know she meant those words. I just can't understand how she's dangerous, Andy."

"I mean, she was kind to us, wasn't she?" She looked at him. He nodded his head, then leaned it against the wall. "I don't think it's a good idea to kill Theresa. We should give her a chance. I guess she's changing now, even though everyone says she's the daughter of Fiona." Andy said. "We're going to save our friend, okay? Wake up early, we'll be meeting outside our house again. The same place." She told him. "What time, Cassie?" He asked. "Just early in the morning."
